Humboldt Redwoods State Park is one of the largest state parks in California. The park covers a total of 53,000 acres. 17,000 acres is old-growth redwood forest. According to parks.ca.gov, this park contains largest expanse of ancient redwoods on earth.

We explored two beautiful groves by foot and gawked at the majesty of the forest by car.
