Iguaba Grande is a municipality in the Microregion of Lagos, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is located at latitude 22º50'21" south and longitude 42º13'44" west, at an altitude of eighteen meters. Its population estimated in 2010 by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics was 22,858 inhabitants.

Hot and humid climate, with an average temperature of 23°C. It is located on the shores of Lagoa de Araruama.
Iguaba is both a beach town and an inland town. There is a fair amount of countryside in the city.
Iguaba has a district: Sapeatiba Mirim, which is about 6 km from the Center, and whose main tourist attraction is Praça da Bible.
