Suzuki GSX-R150 '19 | Taste Test

When you think about the Suzuki GSX-R; you might think MotoGP rider Alex Rins, or those bikes doing some unsafe and illegal stuff, a good daily sport bike, or even "a real man's bike."

The Suzuki GSX-R series is already engrained to every normie and enthusiasts alike! With the popular GSX-R600, to the powerful GSX-R1000, the beginner-focused GSX-R125, and the iconic GSX-R750. But in the developing countries, one GSX-R variant exists that the rest of the world missed out, and that is the GSX-R150.

The GSX-R150 might serve as a step-up from the usual "Underbone King," the Raider R150 series. Other than the obvious differences, they both share the same engine. Basically, you get the "bad-ass" looks of the GSX-R600 with the efficiency as the R150 especially in the Philippines.

Of course, this sport bike is marketed as one of those 'premium small bikes' as it is priced around PHP160k (USD3,200) a bit pricey especially compared to other 200 or even some 300cc bikes made in India and China!

Being a curious monkey as I always am, I was fortunate enough to take this bike for a short spin to get the feel and parking lot dynamics of this GSX-R150! Since I've already ridden the GSX-R600 & GSX-R1000 brothers, this was the smallest GSX-R I've ridden until I get a chance to ride the Euro/Japan-exclusive GSX-R125.
