Why do we think we can speak to the Scattered coming out of the nations? We share why and how we walked away from SDA Christianity to follow the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (YHVH Elohim) and the ancient path.

Today’s Topic: Isaac and Rebekah talk about their journey out of Seventh-day Adventism. They talk about how they learned about the heart through Ransomed Heart Ministries and John Eldredge and discovered how important it is. This mindset makes their ministry different from the rest in this movement. They talk about some of the other teachers that led them out, especially Michael Rood.

They talk about how this Hebraic movement seems to attract people who have unhealed hearts, who are mean and who like to control people. They talk about how when the heart isn’t healed and understood we tend to direct the anger --- the we feel after we find out we’ve been lied to by our family and religion --- laterally, toward each other.

They show you the books that led them out of Christianity to freedom from man-made religion.

They talk about how once one leaves organized religion there is no place for one to put their energy, time, talents and gifts. There is no “place” anymore and that is super hard. We all come from religious structure where there we so many opportunities, but in this walk there is no structure among the Scattered so were do we give our gifts to YHVH once you leave organized religion? This is hard to figure out how to do and not addressed very much. This is something no one is talking about. There is a huge lack of outlet for people who come from organized religion and have benefited from the oportunties for service there. With this frustration people tend to turn on each other.

They discuss why they are not part of the Messianic movement -- as it is just another man-made religion. It uses many of the same things of Christianity that came from pagan roots.

They talk about the first Feast they celebrated and how they embraced the idea to “delight in them.”
