This entire series was filmed during late summer of 2010.Many of the personalities still can be found but many others have moved on. This series will tell you of history, it will show attractions, it will make you laugh and cry. This is the Mother Road. Follow us as we reveal American's main street. In this episode of the Route 66 Adventure we are in Cuba, the city of mural art. Our first stop is the Wallace House landmark. We were fortunate to meet with Wilbur Vaughn and his wife Imogene. Wilbur told us the old road story of the day he took a controversial picture, during 1948, of actress Bette Davis. They made a mural depicting this story. We stayed at the iconic Wagon Wheel Motel where we spoke with the owner Connie Echols. The episode ends with a mural shoot.
