As a journalist, Ukraine native Yuriy Matsarsky has covered areas of conflict around the world, including Iraq, Syria, and the Gaza Strip. Now, thanks to Russia’s tyrannical Vladimir Putin making the call to invade Ukraine, Yuriy finds his own homeland a battleground. And while an assault rifle is his tool of trade at the moment, Yuriy hasn’t completely dropped his journalism baton as he shares daily reports of what’s happening on the ground through his podcast, Fighting for Ukraine.
