DESCRIPTION BY CHILDRENS HEALTH DEFENSE
Mary Holland and Polly Tommey discuss the $6.5 million in National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding of questionable research on cardiovascular health in children. By using the “classic tobacco science model” the NIH is attempting to draw attention away from vaccine induced myocarditis and instead focus the blame for the upswing of child cardiac issues on things such as childhood trauma, food insecurity, and ethnicity. They contrast this NIH funded study with the study in the Journal of Pediatrics.

“This is a smokescreen. . . This is absolutely sowing the seeds for their alibi.”

They theorize that this NIH funded study will be used by the pharmaceutical industry and the government to cast doubt on the link between vaccine injury and childhood cardiovascular disease while at the same time shifting the blame on parents and focusing on socioeconomic inequities.
