Belarus Signs Up! First Nation Decoupling From Dollar By Agreeing To Pay In Russian Rubles | TPTS

Belarus will pay in #rubles for #oil and gas supplies from Russia. This was announced on Saturday, April 2, by the Prime Minister of the Republic, Roman Golovchenko.

“We switched to payments in rubles for #energy resources. This is very important; this is what we have been striving for a very long time – #decoupling settlements from the dollar; now, we will work in the Russian ruble. This year we will pay for the supplied oil and gas in Russian rubles,” he said.

Prime Minister #Golovchenko stated that a period has begun that “can be called a period of dollar suicide, this is a chance for the world to get away from the #hegemony of the dollar.”
