Liberal and Conservative Agree on Critical Race Theory

In this video, I read and comment on a NY Post article by conservative activist Christopher Rufo regarding Critical Race Theory and those who promote it, as well as the larger implications. Conservatives have jumped on the Anti-SJW and anti-woke bandwagon as a means to criticize the left and galvanize the republican base. I agree with much of Rufo’s takes on CRT, but this is a warning against allowing the right to take over the culture war battle against critical theory as there are many legit critiques of the ideology from the not-so-radical left. I am a liberal, and I can’t stand critical theory!! The issues we face as a nation, and disproportionately impacting people of color, are mostly economic. The classes and groups are pitted against each other over social and cultural disagreements while the economic and political elite run away with the money bags. Hidden in all stimulus bills have been massive transfers of wealth to the top, with crumbs given to the poorest among us. Let’s get “woke” on the economic treason happening in our country.
