so absurd so absurd
this world has got so absurd

listen to a story that’s so disturbed

well I left my home in the deep backwoods
where the cowberries bloom and woodchuck chucks
to look and see what’s going on
in the great wide world and to have some fun

so I came to kind of playing ground
where everybody was hopping around
some were trying to talk with walls
some were trying to walk on balls

a real tall man in a shiny suite
came to me said welcome dude
the sun is yellow a frog is green
I’m a superhero cause I’m in between

now the crowd freaked out and began to shout
as a marching band came walking around
as they started to play an old rock ‘n’ roll song
the people were pleased and had real fun

but the superhero climbed on the stage
unveiled a famous punk in a rotten cage
when punk sat up and began to beg
the superhero crawled his neck

now things got heavy I and started to drink
when a fat man cried I’m the missing link
my car is fast and my teeth are shining
I got many muscles but my dick is so tiny

when he lost his poise broke down and cried
all I wanted was to run and hide
I tried so hard but suddenly
the superhero stood in front of me

he said son I know what you’ve been through
you better start doing what I do
life is confusing so follow me

didn’t expect things could get that tough
