Surfing Inside a Stadium With the DJI Avata FPV Drone
Having fun flying & getting paid to do it... Flying 25-30MPH around the top circuit of the Alamo Dome in San Antonio. Couldn't find an available high school track, so did this instead. Yeah, right!

Watching the Six Flags Fiesta Texas #Fireworks & Drone Show with a Mini 3 Pro Drone - 15min long
Six Flags Fiesta Texas has been putting on a combination Fireworks and Drone Show at their park on weekends during the month of July 2023. In August, the drone show is only happening on the first 2 Saturdays. This video was taken on August 5th. Unfortunately, the drone show's images were facing away from the La Cantera shopping center where I was parked. But if I had flown around to the opposite side of the park to see them correctly, I risked flying out of visual flight range and possibly even over people whom I couldn't see on the ground because it was dark.
I compressed the "dead areas" of the video as much as possible, but it still ended up at around 15 minutes long. That's too long for most YT videos, but I'm going to leave it that way. The Drone Show portion starts at the 9:11 mark if you want to skip past the beautiful fireworks.
This video was shot for fun and enjoyment. It is not authorized by SFFT. I did not fly over SFFT property, people or moving vehicles while recording this video. The DJI Mini 3 Pro was used to record it, using a wide-angle lens attachment. Live audio was added for the fireworks, as you will hear some conversations off in the distance. Music tracks were added for the drone show portion of this video, selected from Epidemic Sound.

Chasing Stock Cars & Watching Them Crash at the South Texas Race Ranch with a DJI Avata Drone #race
We were offered a chance to fly our drones and chase cars around the track at the South Texas Race Ranch, a very rare chance at that. Race on Texas flies drones here & broadcasts the live stream of the races to the Internet for it's customers. This race car chasing activity had been on our bucket list of things to do with drones, ever since @maxair420 and @TammieJean started showing how to do this on their channels.
Because of the live stream broadcast, this track normally doesn't let other drone pilots participate, but for some reason they decided to show mercy on us and allow it this time. So we thank the race track management and the owners of Race on Texas for allowing us to experience this wonderful activity. We flew the DJI Avata FPV Drone in Sport Mode for this video.
This is the seventh in a series of race car chasing videos from that Saturday night down in Corpus Christi, Texas. It was possibly the 6th race of the night, however.
Things we learned that night. Batteries and more batteries. Need a way to recharge them in the field fast enough to keep flying. We ran out of the 5 DJI FPV drone batteries and switched over to the DJI Avata drone next. That drone couldn't even try to keep up with the race cars on it's best day. After we had exhausted the Avata batteries, we switched over to the DJI Mini 3 Pro drone. It was faster than the Avata in Sport mode, but didn't have the acceleration to keep up.

Kite Flyers at Port Aransas Beach on a Hot Summer Afternoon #kiteflying #kites #portaransas
Temperatures were in the mid 90's with a heat index around 105 degrees (F), but that didn't stop the kite flyers from the Coastal Bend Flying Circus and Surfside Flyers Kite Club from getting together on the beach to fly their kites and enjoy the view. Larie Gardner organized this gathering when she learned that I had made plans to spend the weekend down in the Corpus Christi area with a friend. She and her boyfriend, Tim (the guy you will see in the opening segment), got there early in the morning to stake out a wide area for flying their kites, before the crowd moved in around them.

The Halftime Show at the South Texas Race Ranch 7-15-2023 #racetrack #avata
This is a short video where I watched 3 kids drive their motorized go carts around a small section of the track in front of the bleacher stands. This was entertainment for the crowd and fun for these three kids. The location was the South Texas Race Ranch in Corpus Christi. They were kind enough to let me fly my drones and chase cars around the track. More videos pending of the actual race cars.

Checking Out the Outdoor Water Park at Generations Park YMCA in Bedford Texas
This is one of the most amazing outdoor water parks that I've seen in a long time. It's operated by the Bedford Texas City Parks & Rec department, in conjunction with the YMCA. It open to the public, as well as members of the YMCA Center, at very reasonable pricing. $5 for residents and $10 for non-residents. Find out our more about this great water park at https://BedfordTx.gov/971/Outdoor-water-park
This video was made before sunrise while I was waiting to meet up with another drone pilot who lives in Bedford. Unfortunately, a thunderstorm rolled in right after sunrise, forcing us to delay our plans to fly here. If you are in the Bedford Texas area (Near Ft. Worth), you might want to check this place out.

Classic Car &Truck Show in Bandera Texas, July 7th, 2023, as seen with a Drone #classiccars #avata
Every month, on the first Friday afternoon, the locals gather to show off their classic cars and trucks at this little shopping center just outside of Bandera Texas on Highway 16. This is the third month in a row that I've been able to get up there in time to make a quick drone flight before the event was over. Every month, it's a little bit different. I especially enjoyed seeing the classic fire truck with the flags and the skeleton in an Uncle Sam's outfit sitting in the back. No fancy flying, no flying through the open windows, just flying around like a butterfly looking for flowers.
If you have a community event like this one and you would like some aerial video/photography coverage of the event, feel free to reach out to us at https://YellowRoseDrones.com. Ve sure to follow us on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Rumble and Twitter.
Editing was done with the Filmora Go mobile video editor and used one of their stock music tracks. thus explaining why there was any speed ramping involved this time. The mobile app can do it, but it just takes more effort than the desktop version does. I did this editing while sitting in the parking lot of a QuikTrip.

Full Length 4th of July Fireworks at the San Antonio Country Club Recorded Live with a GoPro
The San Antonio Country Club, near Ft. Sam Houston, in San Antonio Texas, holds fireworks twice a year, New Year's Eve and the 4th of July. Their program never disappoints their audience. Members of the public will park along South New Braunfels Ave and Hildebrand Ave to watch from their cars. Neighbors who are lucky enough to live nearby, love to sit out in their lawns in chairs, to enjoy the free show.
We wish to thank 2 special young helpers, a couple of children of Country Club members, who volunteered to help us as Volunteer Observers while we were flying our drone nearby early to get some photos, and while we were recording this footage. Due to last minute technical difficulties with our drone, we had to rely instead upon our tripod mounted GoPro Hero 10 camera w/ Boom microphone.
Follow us on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Rumble and Twitter as @YellowRoseDrones for more of our projects done for clients. You can also visit us at https://YellowRoseDrones.com to contact us about any projects you have in the works. Some locations, like the Country Club, may require a lead time in order to get authorization to fly in that area.

VFW POST 8800 Canyon Lake 4th of July Parade 2023 - Staging Area Before the Start #mini3pro #parade
This is a short drone video over flying the staging area for the 2023 4th of July Parade in Startzville, Texas, just south of Canyon Lake. The parade is sponsored by the Startzville Memorial VFW Post 8800 and the staging area is organized by the Hill Country REACT Team #4804. This year's parade was about 2/3 the size of the 2022 parade for some unknown reason. Several "regular" entries were not present this year. Entries are usually from local area businesses, not-for-profit organizations, political office holders (county commissioner, sheriff, constable, etc.) and recreational destinations.

DJI Avata FPV Drone Crashes Into Metal Soccer Goal at 22mph! - But Did It Score? #dronecrash
I was out having some fun at the neighborhood's soccer fields, flying from inside my vehicle due to the heat, when I misjudged the angle as I flew towards the soccer goal out in the field. Crashed into the top steel bar while flying at 22.2mph. I had been doing 28mph just prior to that. This video is from the Goggles, so that it showed the telemetry from the drone. The drone didn't suffer any lasting damage, but it threw off one of the @OriginaldoBo Ribbed Riders duct guards and snapped off the GoPro mount on the top of the drone. All easily fixed or replaced.

62 Mile Start For The 2023 5th Annual Tour de Boerne Bicycle Ride After Sunrise #cycling
This start line video was made from drone footage flying around the starting line for the 5th Annual Tour de Boerne bicycle ride in Kendall County, Texas, at the Don Strange Range near Boerne. The 2023 ride had about 950 registered riders who chose one of 3 available distance routes to ride. This year they had 8 SAG vehicles and multiple Aid Stations out on the route. This helped to shorted the wait time for stranded riders who developed mechanical issues, or just became too tired to continue on. There were bicycle repair shops at many of the Aid Stations to help keep the riders riding...
This event raises funds for local county not-for-profit organizations with a goal of $40k in donations to these groups.
If you would like aerial coverage for your next sporting event, feel free to reach out to YellowRoseDrones.com for scheduling. We've covered sporting events within a 100 mile radius of San Antonio. Follow us on YouTube, Facebook, Rumble, Instagram & Twitter. Music from Epidemic Sound.
