Waste oil and water on a ship. I touch a little bit on the rules
Plenty of rules regarding the collection of water and waste oil. Even transferring around the ship has rules.
The MCA is pretty hot on this topic and the fines if accidents happens are very high.
And to be honest its not worth the risk breaking the rules.

Where are all the birds at the wind farm.
One of the things people say about wind farms is that it kills the birds. But again that is something that’s no easy to see for yourself.
Ive seen plenty of Dead Sea birds ashore but nowhere near a windmill.
As for the wind farms we really need to find a way to store the energy they produce for the days there no wind.

Engine is fixed and we are off
Another day in paradise. Heading south towards the Thames and then turning around and heading north.
One thing I dislike about watching other peoples videos is the shaky camera work and the excessive wind noise.
Having said that much bigger channels than mine thrive on just that and of course conflict.
Listed below is the equipment i use so i can bring you rock steady images and very little wind noise.
Colour grading, editing and rendering the final video takes about 60 minutes.
Equipment used.
Gimbal - crane M3 - pan and follow mode.
Camera - gopro hero 11.
Lens filter - K&F ND32+CPL
wireless mic - DJI wireless mic
Camera settings.
Resolution - 4k/50fps
Shutter - 1/100
ISO - auto
White balance - auto
Sharpness - low
Colour profile - flat
Stability - off.
Colour graded in post.

As the sun was setting over the fences i got out into the garden as the sun had come out from the rain cloudy.
i managed to blast away and get a few bees in the bag.
next was the butterflies.
Sorry about the auto focus noise of the my lenses, the on board mic picked the sound. I didnt realise how noisy they'd be. Next time I'll be using an external shotgun mic.
the sigma lens was the noisiest
Equipment use.
Camera - Canon 90D
Lens for the bees - sigma 105mm f2.8
Lens for butterflies - canon 50mm f2.8

My photos from my week plus music to help you relax on a sunday afternoon.
The first two are from camping holiday.
The black and white bird, looks like a pied wagtail using a 35yr old 600mm mirrored len
The second are image stacked macro pictures both were made from 15 separate photos and stitched together only using the in focus bit.
The rest i set the camera to shoot 12 frames a second and took the best image from the bunch. All using a sigma 105mm f2.8 lens
