Two football teams take a knee in the locker before a game.

Both pray earnestly to God with all their hearts that he would give them the victory.

But only one team wins.

Did one pray harder than the other?

Did God favor one over the other?

Or fail the other?

Or did the victor just happen to put in the extra work that won the game by milliseconds and inches?

Guy gets on his motorcycle and rides to town.

There are thunder clouds all around.

He prays for good weather.

But all the farmers along the hiway are experiencing a drought and they are praying for rain.

Does God alter and place personal bubbles of physics on us cuz we pray?

No.

He places around us the common physics we know and that were created in his benevolence and wisdom.

And he gives us each minds to ration and think through what best fortifies the possibilities of success within those physics.

God does not flick bullets with his finger or create special bubbles of physics for those who pray. He can. And he has. But for the most part i think he has turned his face from the world for now until all is accomplished, lest he smote it in his wrath for what he sees regarding the immorality of our time.

Trump just happened to turn his head at that instant and slipped a bullet.

He is not the second coming of Christ as some say.

He is not even a man of faith.

He does not even believe he needs a saviour.

He thinks he hasnt ever sinned.

Be careful about entrusting yourselves to men.

Jesus would not, saying he knew what was in the heart of EVERY MAN.

He might even turn out to be the very one that ushers in the Beast System and his Mark - in the name of Peace.

In the Last Days there will be a powerful delusion that deceives even the elect if that were possible.

It will be as in the days of Noah before God brought a great flood that killed everything.

People will be crying Peace! Peace! when there is no peace. Then destruction will come upon them suddenly.
