Formation and Evolution: The universe is thought to have originated approximately 13.8 billion years ago in an event known as the Big Bang. This theory suggests that the universe began as an infinitely small, hot, and dense point and has been expanding ever since. Over billions of years, matter in the universe clumped together under the influence of gravity to form stars, galaxies, galaxy clusters, and vast cosmic filaments. 3. Cosmic Entities: Stars: These are massive celestial bodies that shine due to nuclear fusion in their cores. They are responsible for producing and dispersing elements throughout the universe. Galaxies: These are enormous systems consisting of stars, stellar remnants, interstellar gas, dust, and dark matter, all bound together by gravity. Black Holes: These are regions of spacetime where gravity is so strong that nothing, not even light, can escape. They form from the remnants of massive stars. Dark Matter and Dark Energy: These are mysterious substances that make up a significant portion of the universe. Dark matter doesn't emit, absorb, or reflect light and is detected through its gravitational effects. Dark energy is a form of energy thought to be responsible for the accelerated expansion of the universe. 4.
