If we understand it in simple words, then it is called an account written about the experiences of a person or persons who have come from outside in a place. It is used by readers for entertainment or to obtain information for the travel itself in the same place. Thus we can understand that this is the genre of literature (travelogue story) in which the author describes the journey of a place. And this description is interesting. During the narration, the author introduces the reader to the history, geography, culture, economy etc. of a place. The purpose behind this literary genre (travelogue assignment) is to transmit the delightful experiences of the author to the reader. Through which the reader can imbibe that experience and experience it.
