Breastfeeding, or nursing, is the process by which human breast Milk is fed to a child.Breast milk may be from the breast, or may be pumped and fed to the infant. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends that breastfeeding begin within the first hour of a baby's life and continue as often and as much as the baby wants.Health organizations, including the WHO, recommend breastfeeding exclusively for six months. This means that no other foods or drinks, other than Vitamin D, are typically given.WHO recommends exclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months of life, followed by continued breastfeeding with appropriate complementary foods for up to 2 years and beyond.Of the 135 million babies born every year, only 42% are breastfed within the first hour of life, only 38% of mothers practice exclusive breastfeeding during the first six months, and 58% of mothers continue breastfeeding up to the age of two years and beyond. The pattern of intended nutrient content in breast milk is relatively consistent. Breastmilk is made from nutrients in the mother's bloodstream and bodily stores. It has an optimal balance of fat, sugar, water, and protein that is needed for a baby's age appropriate growth and development. That being said, a variety of factors can influence the nutritional makeup of breastmilk, including gestational age, age of infant, maternal age, maternal smoking, and nutritional needs of the infant The first type of milk produced is called colostrum. The volume of colostrum produced during each feeding is appropriate for the size of the newborn stomach and is sufficient, calorically, for feeding a newborn during the first few days of life. Produced during pregnancy and the first days after childbirth, colostrum is rich in protein and Vitamins A, B12 and K, which supports infants' growth, brain development, vision, immune systems, red blood cells, and clotting cascade. The breast milk also has long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids which help with normal retinal and neural development. The caloric content of colostrum is about 54 Calories/100mL.The second type of milk is transitional milk, which is produced during the transition from colostrum to mature breast milk. As the breast milk matures over the course to several weeks, the protein content of the milk decreases on average. The caloric content of breastmilk is reflective of the caloric requirements of the infant, increasing steadily after 12 months. The caloric content of breastmilk in the first 12 months of breastfeeding is approximated to be 58-72 Calories/100mL. Comparatively, the caloric content after 48 months is approximately 83-129 Calories/100mL.  When a mother has her full milk supply and is feeding her infant, the first milk to be expressed is called the foremilk. Foremilk is typically thinner and less rich in calories. The hindmilk that follows is rich in calories and fat. breast feeding, baby feeding, feeding, breast milk, fruits for breast feeding, best breast feeding positions, breast feeding pediatric class, how to increase breast milk, increase breast milk, how to increase breast milk supply, breast, foods to increase breast milk, natural ways to increase breast milk, feeding baby, feeding child, feeding babies, feeding mother, feeding your baby, breast pumping tips, expressing breast milk, big breast feeding, breast feeding adults, breast pumping, breast feed, breast fed, breastfeeding with small breast, breast pumping and breastfeeding, breast pumping meditation, complementary feeding, breast engorgement, natural ways to increase breast milk, breastfeeding position for small breast, cup feeding, pakistani girl breastfeeding, breast pain, understanding breast feeding, learn breast feeding, breast feeding babies, best breast feeding positions, viral breastfeeding video, breast cancer awareness in pakistan, pakistani mother breastfeed, muslim girl breastfeeding in public, breast engorgement, breastfeeding with over full breast, indian breastfeeding, breastfeeding indian, breast feeding india, desi breastfeeding indian mom vlog, breastfeeding indian village mom, desi breastfeeding vlog indian new, indian breastfeeding mom vlogs new 2023, desi mom breastfeeding baby vlog indian all, breastfeeding vlogs new 2023 indian village, indian breast feeding, breast feeding indian, breastfeeding indian mom, indian breastfeed, indian breastfeeding mother, indian mother breastfeeding style, Twins Baby Breast Feeding, benefits of Breast Feeding, Increase Breast Milk Volume, Desi Breast Feeding, Maa Ka Pyar, Maa Ka Doodh, Breast Feeding Vlog, rumble Reels, rumble vlogs, rumble shorts, rumble,

Breastfeeding is a natural and vital process in which a mother nourishes her infant or young child by providing them with breast milk directly from her breast. It is often considered the most complete and ideal source of nutrition for babies during the early stages of life. Here's a detailed description of breastfeeding: Breastfeeding is a beautiful and intimate connection between a mother and her child, encompassing both physical and emotional bonds. It offers numerous benefits, not only in terms of nutrition but also for the overall health and well-being of the baby and the mother. **Nutritional Benefits:** Breast milk is a miraculous substance that provides the perfect blend of nutrients, antibodies, and essential vitamins for a growing infant. It is easily digestible and tailored to the baby's specific needs, adapting as the child matures. **Immune System Boost:** Breast milk contains antibodies and immune-boosting properties that help protect the baby from infections and diseases. It serves as a natural defense mechanism, strengthening the child's immune system. **Bonding and Comfort:** The act of breastfeeding fosters a strong emotional bond between mother and baby. It's a time for closeness, comfort, and soothing. Skin-to-skin contact during breastfeeding can promote feelings of security and attachment. **Convenience:** Breastfeeding is convenient for both mother and baby. There's no need to prepare bottles, and breast milk is always available at the right temperature. It's an eco-friendly choice with minimal waste compared to formula feeding. **Health Benefits for Mothers:** Breastfeeding also offers advantages to the mother, including aiding in postpartum weight loss and reducing the risk of certain health conditions such as breast cancer and osteoporosis. **Environmental Impact:** Breastfeeding is an environmentally friendly choice, as it produces no packaging waste, reduces the carbon footprint associated with formula production, and conserves resources. **Support and Education:** Many communities and healthcare providers offer support and education for new mothers to help them successfully breastfeed, addressing any concerns or challenges that may arise. It's important to note that while breastfeeding is natural, it may not always be easy, and some mothers and babies may encounter difficulties. Seeking guidance and support from lactation consultants, healthcare professionals, or breastfeeding support groups can be invaluable in overcoming challenges and ensuring a positive breastfeeding experience. In conclusion, breastfeeding is a remarkable journey that provides not only essential nourishment but also emotional connection, health benefits, and environmental sustainability. It's a loving gift that a mother can offer her child, nurturing their growth and well-being in a unique and special way.

My name is Suvi Mahonen, and I'm a proud breastfeeding mum. I am so lucky to have had my beautiful little boy Spencer, after undergoing 33 rounds of IVF in three different countries over seven long years. I was 48 years old when he was born via caesarean section at Gold Coast Private Hospital. I believe there are many benefits of sharing our breastfeeding journeys including to educate women, and their partners, and their families and the global community, about the realities of breastfeeding, so that women are not embarrassed or shamed about, what inarguably is, the biological norm. I would like to foster a positive attitude towards breastfeeding on this channel, and if you want to support an enabling and empowering environment for breastfeeding, then this is the place for you :) If you find the content on this channel useful and you'd like to help it grow, any donations would be greatly appreciated: https://paypal.me/suvisjournalism?country.x=AU&locale.x=en_AU
