Bad Boaters on the Dora Canal

The Dora Canal is a beautiful 1 mile canal that is no wake from Lake Dora to Lake Eustis. This waterway is rarely patrolled by the US Coast Guard, the Florida Wildlife Officers, The Lake County Sheriffs Dept, and Tavares Police Dept. along with the occasional Citizens Marine Patrol. Due to the lack enforcement of the no wake zone, we are trying to bring attention to boaters that have no regard for the law. The loud music and rolling wakes are driving off the wildlife and damaging the ecosystem.
