Why/how am I here I was raised in a rural area and lived on a farm where I was taught Conservative values. My early and adolescent memories related to politics include the likes of Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly on Fox News. By highschool (around the 2016 election) I was watching alternative media from Ben Shapiro, Stephen Crowder, and Milo Yianoppolous and was a huge Trump supporter. However, with election season cooling down and college right around the corner, I took a step back from politics. In the following years, I bounced around different political positions. My more libertarian viewpoints springboarded me towards alternative media on the left, starting with the Joe Rogan podcast and moving on to much more left wing media like Kyle Kulinski, Jimmy Dore, and The Hill. I eventually made my way into watching political commentators such as Destiny where I discovered that there was an entire ecosystem of people whose job it was to livestream political discourse. Over the past couple years, I have slowly settled at what I believe is center right. In short, I went on my own journey across the political spectrum, landing somewhere that wasn't ultimately too far from where I began. I took a long look at the new Republican Party and realized it was no longer the same party I was raised in. Top republican leaders and party representatives care mostly about gossiping online; spreading hateful and divisive rhetoric that aims to blame the other side. We have lost our traditional views on family in place for anti-feminism, as best personified by the red pill movement. We have replaced our understanding of economics and value of the free market with a “Magic Box Theory”. We have the arrogance to proclaim that we’re right and everyone who disagrees must be stupid or evil. Our party has been hijacked and lost track of the core values that used to make me proud to be a Republican. And looking towards the left, I see similar issues. As someone who has been all over the political spectrum, my entire goal is to get us all back on course. My channel is one of free speech and open discourse. My goal is to always provide a space for viewers to join and challenge my views or test theirs. When there isn’t anyone to talk to, I will continue to build my political “platform”. I want to create a community where we respect one another and while we do not necessarily agree with one another; we are still able to communicate and understand each others' views. I see a political space that is full of dishonesty and resentment - this is incompatible with Democracy. Join me and anyone else who is willing to be an adult in the room and fix our system.
