Mufti Sahab pursued an intensive, full-time study of the classical, Islamic academic disciplines hitherto known as the 'Dars-e-Nizami', and further completed his specialization in Islamic jurisprudence (Takhassus fi Fiqh) Mufti Tariq Masood is a qualified Islamic scholar. He pursued an intensive full-time study of the classical disciplines of Islamic learning (known as Dars-e-Nizami) and was awarded formal certifications as an ‘Alim’ certifying him to teach the disciplines of Qur’an, Tafsir, Hadith, Arabic Grammar & Linguistics, Beliefs & Creed, and Islamic Law & Legal Theory (Fiqh & Usul). He completed his Takhasus fil Fiqh from Jamia Tur Rasheed and was formally certified as “Mufti” (Authorization to give Fatwah – (Legal Opinion)) He is involved in teaching the classic Islamic learning (Dars e Nizami) and working in Darul Iftah since past 13 years at Jamia Tur Rasheed. He wrote articles and has been answering fiqhi masail in one of the famous Islamic News Paper for five years.
