I have about 2 years’ experience practicing some ascetic practices, and about 3-4 years’ experience practicing mindfulness meditation. While I have this experience, I do not consider myself an expert on either of these subjects, because there are a lot of practices I still have not tried yet. I also notice that there can be different interpretations of mindfulness that I do not always see among all practitioners. For example, the idea of a being mode and doing mode is something I see some, but not all mindfulness meditators talk about or agree on. I do not give medical advice.
