Dr. Wingert’s research focuses on ancient medicine, Semitic scriptural literature, the linguistic and philological background to Semitic languages in contact with neighboring speech communities, Northwest Semitic epigraphy, the philosophy of language, and ancient Near Eastern religions. MouseGunGuy channel is about "mouse" guns, also called pocket pistols. They are small, and usually .25 caliber (6.35mm), with a few .22s and .32s (7.65mm) thrown in. Many are 100 years old or more, while some are more recent. I research the history of the firearms and characteristics that make then unusual, or even unique, and if and how they may relate to other firearms. And I like to have a little fun along the way, because old guys and old guns rule! I am NOT a videographer, and I apologize in advance for my lack of expertise. I try to keep the videos short and to the point, but I do hope that the videos will inform and create a desire to know more about these fascinating little firearms.
