The Tony Mangelli Show is an adult animated series that began as a scripted, sitcom-style podcast about a slick-talking, dim-witted huckster named Tony Mangelli trying to make the big time with his own talk show. On his journey to fortune and fame, Tony uses the show as a way to try to hustle listeners out of their hard-earned money by selling useless items on Mangelli's Lazy Bastard Home Shopping Club or charging thousands in tuition for his ridiculous online courses through The Tony Mangelli Online School of Educational Things. All the while, his producer, T.P., tries to keep the show legit by booking guests and does his best to keep Tony from going too far off the rails. As a result, listeners are treated to all of the wacky antics and idiotic situations that take place inside the studio where Tony fields phone calls (usually from former friends who insult him on the air), interviews guests with disastrous results, plays his homegrown commercials featuring his useless items or online courses for sale, and much more.
