Everything From homesteading, hunting, fishing and fitness
Hi there! Thanks for stopping by to visit. We’re the Strube family and we reside in a vintage log cabin in the mountainous Panhandle region of North Idaho. We own 20 acres of timbered property on which we chose to build a self sufficient homestead in 2019. We are still in the beginning phases of infrastructure but we have learned so much already and would love to share our experiences with you all.
Build, create, grow, enjoy life!
We are a family based out of Virginia, trying to create a home for ourselfs, Its just my Wife our daughter and me.
Bio: We are James and Courtney from Collins Country Farm. We live on a 60-acre farm in Kentucky in a farmhouse that we built ourselves! We love DIY projects, homesteading, hunting, gardening, canning and farm-life! Our goal is to “live off the land” as much as possible and enjoy this land that God has blessed us with. Happy homesteading!
Life at the Purcell Ranch and how to videos on everything homesteading with Erik and Alison! We originally purchased this land just a few years ago. Originally the land was a complete bare slate. We hope everyone enjoys the content. Please "like" and subscribe to our channel.
We're Matt & Cass, we lived on the road traveling the wildest parts of the world in our converted 1988 Astro Tiger Provan for 3 years, but life changes, priorities shift, and you find yourself maybe wanting something different. SOOO... We purchased 32 acres of raw land in the mountains of Tennessee to create our fully off-grid self sustaining homestead.Join along for the ups, downs, wins, and loses as we convert this wild land into our dream home.
A small home in the middle of town. Starting from scratch doing what we can with what we have.
Follow a modern LARGE family of 10 as they try to be more self sufficient while living a busy lifestyle. They highlight their large off grid greenhouse where they are growing bananas and citrus in Utah (oh and all the boring stuff that would actually help you survive). Also milk cows, rabbits, and chickens. Oh and sometimes Nate is somewhat of a spectacle and always political.
Urban homesteading with simplicity in action. We homestead in a suburban neighborhood backyard with square feet, not acreage. We garden all year long, raise chickens and meat rabbits, build our own structures, and preserve a lot of our own food. And we're bringing you along on our journey, to show you how we do it, how you can do it, and just to have fun. Praise God and pray often!!

Maybe you're like us and want a peaceful life of freedom and independence in the country. When we lived in the city that is exactly what we dreamed of. In the city were dependent on someone else to provide us with everything we needed, like electricity, water, and food. We knew that if any one of those systems failed we would be stuck and need someone to rescue us. So, we packed up our family and moved to a 7-acre piece of raw land in North Idaho. We’re just regular middle-class folks with very little practical experience in building, gardening, or raising animals. But, we were willing to give it a shot and couldn’t be happier with our decision. If inexperienced people like us can become debt-free and find a peaceful life of freedom and independence in the country, so can you. We’ll show you how by sharing the skills and tips needed to make the move through our inspirational videos. So, consider subscribing and we will see you in the next video.
