Pode não entender nada da vida, ter a sua inteligência emocional afetada por fatores externos e conceitos mundanos, hierárquicos, raciais, financeiros e sociais. O homem sábio sabe que o maior valor é a própria vida e o respeito a si mesmo e ao próximo. Entende a efemeridade da existência e aceita-a.
