Israel Ireland Watch (IIW) was established in 2023 during the Israel Gaza War. Its goal is to document some of the hate speech and antisemitism emanating from some quarters of the public discourse in Ireland. Our goal is not to suggest that these viewpoints represent mainstream opinion in Ireland. However, we do believe that Ireland is failing to uphold laws against hate speech and is thereby creating an atmosphere of fear for Jews and Israelis living in the country.
