Welcome to Madam Mayor's Adventures. This channel was created by Therese and Brett Granger to document our journey in an RV. Brett is a retired logistics officer out of Alaska. After 23 yrs of service in the Army Brett relocated to Otter Creek, FL, where he purchased a campground. Therese was with the postal service for over 18 years. We met in Otter Creek and got married. We spent years turning a dilapidated campground into a beautiful, quiet RV park. During our time in Otter Creek, Therese became Mayor of this small 100-person town. Months into her term, an opportunity presented itself for a new adventure. We decided to go for it. We sold the campground, bought an RV, and are hitting the road! Now we have a homebase in Tennessee.

Took early retirement to travel the world with my wife and three kids. Blogging as I go, teaching my children as much as possible about the world and generally having a good time meeting new people. My wife and I both quit our jobs in 2024 and took our children out of school. We lived in the UK and felt that now was the time to take the risk, whilst the kids are still young enough to come with us. In many ways, I wasn't happy with the direction the UK was heading towards, so felt it was as good a time as any to get out and see what the world had to offer. We have no set plans and book accommodation 1-2 weeks in advance, so you could say we're winging it. Sometimes things get a bit stressful, but this is all part of the fun.
