So I started a new Facebook group with a simple idea. I based this group on a quote from Zig Ziglar "You can get everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want." How am I going to help? I have an awesome network of friends and business associates (OK same thing but you know). I am going to let them / you show everyone too. I will be setting up Live Stream Q&A's for people who are interested in letting others know what they do and how they can help others. When you need lets say an HVAC tech. plumber, handyman, Realtor (yes I have several and it wont be me), insurance person, etc, you can come here and watch the video and decide if you like them prior to calling. In the late 90s, while I was in high school, there seemed to be a show every weekend. I feel so fortunate to have witnessed so many amazing shows by some truebly talented bands. I believe the city itself, with its endless hills, hidden treasures, weirdos, & history played a significant role in the creativity and spirit of these bands. Clearly, there is something to be said about the close proximity to the ocean & rivers, the forest & mountains, Portland & Seattle, as well as the time in history and the privileges it afforded us. It may just be nostalgia, but I believe there was some true talent that came (and still comes) from this ORiginal CITY. I’m Glen Eric Huysamer, also known as The Mother City Pucker, a passionate Master's "beer" league ice hockey player from the stunning city of Cape Town—the Mother City of Africa. My love for skating started back in 1971, and this channel is all about sharing that passion while celebrating the unique ice hockey community here in Cape Town.
