We are working to end the stigma that men are weak because they are sick, struggling or dealing with unresolved trauma. This group in my mind is to inspire people to literally and figuratively to step outside the box (meaning model kit box) and build a model from scratch. Yes it is more work and more time consuming but the reward and satisfaction is much greater when you build something AWESOME that is of your own design and creation. It\\\\\\\'s very gratifying when you know that you have created something that is one of a kind. If your not comfortable with full on scratch building then start with kit bashing it will set you up for full scratch builds later. The internet is full of extremely talented people who have mastered this skill set and once you get a few scratch builds under your belt you will notice that kit building will be easier. So come on and give scratch building a go. As an additional side note Though it is preferred that submissions be some form of scratch building or modification to a kit or kit bashing I won\\\\\\\'t be removing anyone\\\\\\\'s post that doesn\\\\\\\'t strictly adhere to the group preference....I think that would rob the group of some great submissions by some very talented scale model builders.
