I had become jaded and negative about most things and life in general. It was not a pleasant period of my life. One day I saw a touching video of a young man showing compassion and empathy to an opponent during a little league baseball game. In the blink of an eye, it gave me hope and inspired me to help others find hope and inspiration. I decided to create Mission Inspire, despite being uncomfortable on camara. I made it my mission to find, share and celebrate positive and inspirational stories. The Pastor and Mrs. Allen White Jr. founded The Great Commission Church in Port Huron, Michigan on January 25, 2004. Leading the congregation with a deep Commitment to fulfill the Great Commission outlined in Matthew 28: 19-20. The establishment of the church was a spiritual calling, born out of prayer, godly council, and an unwavering desire to change the lives of others. At the heart, The Great Commission Church is driven by a mission to reach the lost and offer solace to those struggling with social and addiction problems. Allen and Sue's leadership cultivated an environment of love, acceptance, and transformation, where individuals can encounter the life-changing power of God's grace. Through their ministry, countless lives were touched, healed and restored, as the church became a beacon of hope and healing in the community. After years of marital problems, including physical abuse and adultery, and near divorce, Joe and Stephanie DeMott have walked through healing and dedicated their lives to the preservation and salvation of marriages all over the world. While working with 2=1 (combined ministries of Nova Shalom, Marriage Ministries International and University of the Family) they have ministered to thousands of couples by Marriage Breakthrough Encounters as well as one on one to couples and 2=1 cell Married for Life Groups.
