Ma poiché il processo riguarda l'occidente intero se non tutto il mondo, chi si dà l'obiettivo di restituire ai popoli la sovranità, cioè il diritto all’autodeterminazione, deve necessariamente far riferimento a un pensiero politico paradigmatico. E il paradigma di riferimento è quello democratico popolare e socialista. Da questa analisi emergere la necessità di un Fronte per la Sovranità Popolare: il ritorno alla sovranità nazionale e il ripristino dei principi costituzionali oggi vilipesi dalle ingerenze del grande capitale cosmpolita e transnazionale sono il primo passo per riprendere il pieno possesso della facoltà di decidere per il nostro futuro. Per uscire dalla UE e dalla NATO, per un ritorno all'economia mista promossa dalla Costituzione e vietata dai trattati europei, per una sanità pubblica universale e gratuita, per una scuola davvero pubblica che formi il cittadino e non il consumatore né, peggio, il prodotto sul mercato del lavoro.
