It is the view of the Long Island Nationals that the time spent during youth sports could and should be the most fun and rewarding experience of a young person’s life. These times should be free from distractions and negative influences that deter from a player’s success both on and off the field. Our goal is simple: to provide our players with the most enjoyable and competitive baseball learning experience while helping them to develop confidence, self-esteem and poise in both athletics and their personal lives without compromising these principles. It is our sincerest wish that all of our players grow to understand that their achievements are neither an accident nor coincidence, but a direct result of their efforts. Dedication, hard work and sportsmanship, not showmanship, are the major ingredients for success, not only in baseball, but in all aspects of life.
