This Channel guides Hero English Educators in Japan on their Epic Journeys to the Tippy-Top of their Trade and to GET PAID like the Celebrity ESL Educators they know they were always meant to be. Michael has brick-and-mortar MA/EdM Degrees in TESOL from Columbia University New York and Legendary Tokyo Teachers College Campuses. He's been teaching and facilitating ESL programs at Japan's most amazing schools, universities, and companies since 1996. After "early retirement" from high school, punk rock bands, and 'starring' on TV cult classic "You Can't Do That on Television," Michael backpacked, meditated, boxed, gold-mined, and language-learned across the globe before choosing Japan where he has lived and taught for the past 25 years. He spends his time on Japan's sunny Shonan coast parenting, surfing, dog-walking, audiobook-listening, hotspring-&-relaxation-culturing, motivational-speaking, and, whenever possible, Keeping the ESL Dream Alive! across Japan, China, and beyond.
