The mission of the national Fisher House Foundation (EIN 11-3158401) is to provide a free "home away from home" for military and veteran families during treatment of a loved one at a nearby VA or military hospital. The mission of the Friends of Mid-Missouri Fisher House is to promote awareness and support for “our” future Fisher House, and to raise funds to be used for the construction of this new facility, which will be located adjacent to the Truman VA Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
