To achieve fluency in English you need to have a lot of understandable repetitive listening. This is the only way to be a fantastic English speaker. You don't have to learn English with your eyes, but with your ears. In other words, you have to listen. Listen to more English, The best listening should be understandable and repetitive. Both are important. If you don't understand, you don't learn anything, you won't improve it. This is why listening to English television does not help you. You don't understand most of what you are listening to. It's too difficult, it's too fast. The best listening equipment should be easy. You should mostly listen to easy English. Do not listen to difficult English because you will not understand and you will learn slowly. Listen to easier English, and your expression will improve faster.

Most people don’t really want to ‘learn’ to play the piano or ‘practice’ the piano, they just want to ‘play’ piano. ‘Play’ sounds like fun, ‘practice’ sounds like a chore. We get this image from childhood – some kid stuck indoors ‘practicing’ scales while all the other kids are outside the window ‘playing’. So, first thing we need to do is to see our piano practice in a new light. See it as a way of accelerating the learning process so that SOON you’ll be able to ‘play’ piano and play it well.

I am a former Computer Science professor, and have had the pleasure of working for many educational institutions, at many levels. I am a theoretical computer scientist by training, and received my PhD in Computer Science (Theory) from Western University in 2019. My research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Theoretical Computer Science, the Journal of Combinatorial Optimization, and Algorithms and have had the pleasure of reviewing for plenty of journals and top conferences.
