Pode não entender nada da vida, ter a sua inteligência emocional afetada por fatores externos e conceitos mundanos, hierárquicos, raciais, financeiros e sociais. O homem sábio sabe que o maior valor é a própria vida e o respeito a si mesmo e ao próximo. Entende a efemeridade da existência e aceita-a. Usa o saber para o bem e compreende os limites do ser humano e a real importância da integridade do caráter, da lealdade e sinceridade nas relações entre os indivíduos.
