The year is 1274 AD, and the island of Tsushima teeters on the edge of destruction. The once-unstoppable samurai, the legendary defenders of Japan, are all but wiped out as the Mongol Empire unleashes its fury, crushing everything in its path. Amidst the carnage, Jin Sakai, one of the last surviving samurai, rises from the devastation. Determined to resist, Jin embarks on a perilous quest to seek out the scattered warriors who survived the initial Mongol onslaught. Together, they must rally what remains of Tsushima’s defenders for a single crucial mission: to rescue Lord Shimura, Jin’s uncle and the island's jitō, held captive by the Mongols.
