In this special extended-length message, we wrap-up our mini-series on gender-based roles within the home and in the church. In the first part of this message, we examine what Paul has to say about female preachers in 1 Cor. 14, and respond to the question of the Apostle's alleged "misogyny." In the second part, we demonstrate how NOT to handle the SCRIPTURES by looking at how Egalitarians (particularly megachurch superstar Rick Warren) employ a faulty hermeneutic in applying the Biblical data to the discussion.

Our 4th message in this miniseries examining the question of appropriate gender-based roles takes up the controversial topic of women in the pastoral ministry, as we begin by looking at the pastoral qualifications of 1 Tim. 3:1-7, as well as Paul's plain directives in 1 Tim. 2:9-15.

Our third message in this miniseries examining gender-based roles and distinctives takes up the matter of the Divinely prescribed order within the Christian Home, examining such passages as Eph. 5:22-33, Col. 3:18-21, 1 Cor. 11:3, and 1 Pet. 3:1-7.

God is a God of ORDER, DECENCY, and PROPRIETY (1 Cor. 14:33, 40)--but the prevailing spirit of our Age is one of CHAOS, INDECORUM, and LAWLESSNESS (Judges 21:25)!!! In this introductory message, we will be looking at the modern debate between complementarians & egalitarians in relation to God's call for Christians to observe appropriate and distinctive gender-based functions within the realms of both the home (Gal. 5:22-33) and the church (1 Tim. 2:8-15). Willful failure to observe God's prescribed patterns of order is an act of REBELLION (which is likened to the sin of witchcraft in 1 Sam. 15:23) and is conforming to the Luciferian image and likeness of the original Rebel (Isa. 14:12-15) who seduced the entire world by enticing our mother Eve to set aside her appropriately assigned role and leave the protection of her husband, Adam.
