Purposefully Placed
HeartTOHeartWherever you are right now, you are there purposefully. You are placed by God. Our Father God is so good at putting us exactly where we need to be, when we need to be there. He sets up divine appointments so His people can bless each other, care for each other, encourage each other. Recently I went through the “month from hell” and so many bad things happened. But God used the people all around me, purposefully they were placed there and He encouraged me, loved me and cared for me through these people. So, where you are right now is purposeful. Open your eyes and your heart wide to God, because He has a divine appointment for you today, someone to encourage, someone to pray for or someone to help in a tangible way. Our God is masterful at using us with each other, to care for us in His Providential Kind of way. So, wherever He has placed you, it is purposeful. Wherever you are, pray for the people all around you, pray for your neighborhood, your city, your state, your nation. God has purposefully placed you there. Is Evil Winning?
HeartTOHeart#1MinuteEncouragement It only takes a minute to be deeply encouraged by God. I believe in God and I believe God. Word Strong is a place of inner spiritual core strength, a place we all need to be in times such as these. We can believe God, His truth endures. No doubt about it. God is working in the unseen for our good. Believe it. Trust God.484 views -
Never NOT Perfect
HeartTOHeartWe will never be left! We will never be forsaken! Even if it looks like and feels like our life is in ruins and as hard as we try to fix it, it is still broken, it is still ruined! Striving in our flesh is so exhausting! We try and try to find a way out of our ruins and just seem to dead end ourselves. I wonder if it is best to just trust God right where we are at? Truly, because wherever we are, He is, and He is actively working for our good in the unseen. If we could only learn that kind of trust where we actively wait in faith and belief of God’s trustworthiness, for God’s timing to play out. Did you know that God’s purposes are always in play in our life situations? There is never a time where God’s purposes are not in play in our lives for our good. God always finishes what He starts and He finishes well. Did you know that God has never failed? God fails Not! He always has a good endgame in mind for us. He is the solution and we can trust Him for a good outcome with perfect timing. God’s purpose surrounds us, kind of like a cleft in the rock kind of scenario. Rocked in by Jesus, surrounded, as we simply-significantly wait on His Way-Making power play on our behalf. How much easier would life be if we stop striving and wait on God to make a way out for us. Rest in your soul! Do you have that when you wait at the roadblocks of life where there seems to be impassable boulders in your way? Nothing is impossible with God! Nothing is irreversible with God! When we believe in God, we should be believing Him. We should believe everything He has promised. As we wait in the Cleft of the Rock our Savior provides for safety, provision and protection as we patiently endure and wait on Him, we should be clinging to the promises of God until He gives us that next step out in His perfect timing! Our God Is Never Not Perfect. Dig Deeper: https://thebridegroomscafe.com/yet-in-darkness/258 views 2 comments -
Busy, Busy, Busy
HeartTOHeartI know we know the right way to live, that we know we should acknowledge God in all of our ways and we should seek first the Kingdom of God. But we find ourselves, busy-busy-busy with the things of this world, the temporary things that won’t matter in the long run. God is the last priority of our time. We have “stuff” to do. We get up busy and we go to bed exhausted and with busy minds about all the stuff we didn’t get done that we need to add to our very busy schedule tomorrow. We are busy people, so busy that little by little we drift away from that personal relationship with God until God becomes that half-hearted, dutiful wave on Sunday morning. We don’t even begin to realize that without God, we would not have the life, the stuff, the ability to be busy. We shelf the very One Who has made it possible for us to be busy-busy-busy. Been there and done that. UNTIL… Until something happens that divinely interrupts our busy schedule and leaves us dead-ended, unable to move forward. It is then that we realize how far we have drifted from our dependency on God. It is so easy to start kindling our own fires and walk by the light of a man made fire that will flame out. God wants to be the One Who puts the things we give our lives too on our life plate. When God puts something on our life plate, He also equips us and strengthens us to do it. This makes life so less exhausting because we are not striving in our own flesh, but are walking in the strength, discernment and wisdom of God. We can finish well when we are connected heart to heart with God, navigated by His Holy Spirit.
