René Magritte
TTypes of Spiritual ExperienceRené Magritte was a Belgian surrealist artist. Surrealism is Symbolism but with no attempt to make a coherent picture from the symbols. Instead the symbols are placed in surreal surroundings. In this video we provide examples of his work and explain the symbols he used, for example - the door, fish, the bowler hat, sea, stones and rain. ===================== CREDITS We have an entry for Rene Magritte on our website, plus more examples of his work https://allaboutheaven.org/sources/magritte-rene/124/main VIDEO EFFECTS AND FOOTAGE René Magritte: The Man in the Hat https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=ppnvnT_ZWJQ René Magritte Says, Never Believe Your Eyes https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=xMrKd54z1wM René Magritte - surrealistic home movie https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=KClP7NNH6sk Musée Magritte Museum https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=SyhccqYewAE Der Magier der verrätselten Bilder https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=EXJN6Vk6mww la trahison des images https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=OXjhhoT666w The Mystery of the Ordinary https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=x1b5hXyxhps René Magritte, interview https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=NNa058RzRY0 MUSIC 00:00 Future Glider - Brian Bolger 01:15 TipToes - Myuu 02:59 Liquid Time - Aakash Gandhi 05:46 Falling Rain - Myuu 08:24 Your Suggestions - Unicorn Heads 10:17 Nocturne - Asher Fulero 12:31 Tragic Story - Myuu 13:54 Portrait of Time - Aakash Gandhi 14:34 E Minor Prelude - Chopin 16:51 Future Glider - Brian Bolger3 views -
Lucid dreaming and the visual arts
TTypes of Spiritual ExperienceCreative, talented people do not use drugs to give themselves inspiration. To ‘receive’ musical inspiration needs the person to be able to perceive ‘inner sounds’. Sounds that are not heard with the ears. Thus a musician will use techniques where peace and quiet can be obtained or produced. In contrast those in the visual arts – film/movies, videos, painting, sculpture and computer games need to shut their eyes to ‘imagine’ – receive - pictures. And once one has one’s eyes closed , a method is needed to ensure the pictures stay in one’s memory/perceptions. Hypnagogia is the transitional state of consciousness between being awake and being asleep. Salvador Dali used this method. But this form of inspiration is often short and better suited to paintings, inventions and flashes of blue sky insight. Film producers and video makers need more prolonged moving images. The challenge then becomes how to remember the dream, and the method that a number of well known film directors and video creators use is called ‘lucid dreaming’. ======================== CREDITS Lucid dreaming The link for a great number of observations [examples] and a more detailed explanation is here https://allaboutheaven.org/commonsteps/lucid-dreaming/120 The paintings Salvador Dali - A number of his paintings have been used, including Dream caused by Bumble Bee; nude in contemplation before the five regular bodies ; the persistence of memory 1931 Joan Miro – A number of works by Joan Miró, - 1920, Horse, Pipe and Red Flower; 1918, La casa de la palmera (House with Palm Tree); The Sun [El Sol] 1949 MoMA VIDEO EFFECTS AND FOOTAGE Painting HD Stock Video | Free stock footage | Free HD Videos - No Copyright | Channel PMI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3usNJlVRjI Abstract Tunnel VJ Motion Background || Neon Light Tunnel Free VJ Loops || 4K VJ Loops https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atycPTJ6LWk&list=PLTDgOUcX23hbmAATluQUP3aZwSXQa01G 4K Abstract Sci-Fi Tunnel VJ Motion Background || Neon Light Tunnel Free VJ Loops || 4K VJ Loops https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tn2VH490JOw&list=PLTDgOUcX23hbq6BR226eSwhvBU86WJUph&index=50 Free Stock Video Download - Rotating Blue Tower Speakers Loop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GmHRF0_few&list=PLHqd9wXmQsOhEJcNDmtJkOru8a7cNfqri&index=8 Dali on the Cavett Show https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CmM19jBdrI MUSIC 00:00 Alone - Emmit Fenn 02:27 Lucid Dreamer - Spazz Cardigan 03:57 Unrest - ELPHNT 07:31 Dreamer - DivKid 10:42 David's Dream - Houses of Heaven 13:57 Who Can Say - The 126ers 15:30 Alone - Emmit Fenn24 views -
Dreaming
TTypes of Spiritual ExperienceAll mammals, all birds, and many reptiles, amphibians, and fish sleep. Many dream – dogs for example, dream. There are two types of dream: • Ordinary dream – in which one only remembers the dream once you have woken up • Lucid dream – in which you become ‘conscious’ in the dream and are thus able to both direct and remember the dream And in this video we examine the ordinary dream. Ordinary dreams are used to help the body repair itself. This is achieved in deep sleep. Needless to say without this deep sleep the body has no chance of ever repairing itself, or of fighting disease. Ordinary sleep also enables the mind to reorganise itself. If these "mind management" tasks are not completed successfully you can end up dog tired, confused and mentally weary. During mind management our memory is reorganised, we learn from accumulated perceptions, old unused memories get "archived", and the data in memory gets reorganised and reindexed. But Rapid eye movement sleep, or REM sleep, accounts for 20–25% of total sleep time in most human adults. The right hemisphere becomes highly active during REM sleep. This is when we get access to the spiritual world at large. =========================== CREDITS Inner speech/thought Inner speech appears to be the language of genius, the language of Inspiration, wisdom and invention. Elias Howe invents the first practical sewing machine in a dream
TTypes of Spiritual ExperienceAsk most people who invented the first working sewing machine and they might take a guess and say Isaac Singer, but they would be wrong. Because that person was Elias Howe. And Elias Howe invented the first practical working sewing machine using the solution shown him in a dream. Elias Howe’s invention is still used in the sewing machine’s design. Before the sewing machine, women made all clothes by hand and each garment was by its very nature unique. The sewing machine liberated women from this work, bringing in the mass production of clothes. It revolutionised the clothing industry, the fashion industry and the way clothes are sold. Without Elias Howe there would be no Nike, no Gap, no Banana Republic, no Calvin Klein, but there again, there would be no sweat shops either. So we owe all this to one dream. ========================= CREDITS PAINTINGS Young Girl Sleeping – Benjamin Fisher Sleep - Salvador Dali Robert Koehler – The old sewing machine Anna Ancher – Fisherman’s wife sewing 1890 Spiaca kobieta z kotem – Wladyslaw Slewinski 1896 Christian Schussele – Men of progress Rainy day on the old farm – Anne Gifford tredle-sewing-machine-carol-vonburnum Singer Sewing – Gail Mccormack Edward Harrison May – Isaac Merrit Singer VIDEO EFFECTS AND FOOTAGE Sewing Machine Video Free Stock Videos https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=6ua-KT_PY6Y Woman Working With Sewing Machine (free no copyright video with a link) https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=I_8K2GaqafM Copyright free, No copyright, Royalty free stock footage, Video for youtube || Sewing https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=0hW5mFyx3w4 Singer VS2 bobbin winding & threading the machine https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=sug69sYIIp8 MUSIC 00:00 When We Found The Horizon - Late Night Feeler 00:50 I'll Remember You - Jeremy Blake 02:58 Dark Matter - Chasms 05:29 A Fool's Theme - Brian Bolger 08:04 Forging Stormbreaker - The Whole Other 10:06 When We Found The Horizon - Late Night Feeler36 views -
