U.S. Supreme Court overturns Chevron decision. What this means for income taxes
FreedomLawSchoolOn June 28, the US Supreme Court, in the “Loper Bright” case, overruled an earlier U.S. Supreme Court decision that resulted in “the Chevron doctrine”. For four decades, that doctrine required federal courts to accept the federal agencies’ interpretations of ambiguous or broad statutes. The Chevron doctrine was a foundation of administrative law and afforded flexibility to successive U.S. presidential administrations to interpret statutes via agency hearings and rule making. The Loper Bright decision will have substantial impact on both regulated industries and agencies. In this week’s Freedom Hour, Peymon will explain how much of an impact the overturning of the Chevron doctrine will have on the ability of the Treasury Department and the IRS to write self-serving rules and regulations and interpret their own rules and regulations in agency hearings and Tax Court/ For over 28 years, Freedom Law School has helped many Americans live free from IRS deception, robbery, and slavery. International Public Notice: Our Response to Overturning "Chevron Deference" By Anna Von Reitz

Article 4918 Video - International Public Notice: Our Response to Overturning "Chevron Deference" - Wednesday, July 3, 2024 By Anna Von Reitz We begin with an excellent summation by Spike Cohen which captures the essence of it: "In, Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, the Supreme Court overturned a 40 year old case called Chevron [Deference] that granted radical levels of power to federal agencies. Spike Cohen @RealSpikeCohen explains this case and its importance. “A family fishing company, Loper Bright Enterprises, was being driven out of business, because they couldn't afford the seven hundred dollars per day they were being charged by the NMFS, the National Marine Fisheries Service, to monitor their company. The thing is, federal law doesn't authorize the NMFS to charge businesses for this. They just decided to start doing it in 2013. Why did they think they could get away with just charging people without any legal authorization? Because in 1984, in the Chevron decision, the Supreme Court decided that regulatory agencies were the "experts" in their field, and the courts should just defer to their "interpretation" of the law. So for the past 40 years, federal agencies have been able to "interpret" laws to mean whatever they want, and the courts had to just go with it. It was called Chevron Deference, and it put bureaucrats in charge of the country. It's how OSHA, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, was able to decide that everyone who worked for a large company had to get the jab, or be fired. No law gave them that authority, they just made it up. It's how the ATF, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives, was able to decide a piece of plastic was a "machine gun". It's how the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service, the NRCS, is able to decide that a small puddle is a "protected wetland". It's how out-of-control agencies have been able to create rules out of thin air, and force you to comply, and the courts had to simply defer to them, because they were the "experts". Imagine if your local police could just arrest you, for any reason, and no judge or jury was allowed to determine if you'd actually committed a crime or not. Just off to jail you go. That's what Chevron Deference was. It was not only blatantly unconstitutional, it caused immeasurable harm to everyone. Thankfully, it's now gone. We haven't even begun to feel the effects of this decision in the courts. It will be used, for years to come, to roll back federal agencies, and we'll all be better off for it. And that's why politicians and corporate media are freaking out about it.” ~Spike Cohen Continue reading http://www.paulstramer.net/2024/07/international-public-notice-our.html Download and print http://annavonreitz.com/chevrondeference.pdf Read the latest from Twenty One of Ed's Fav Alternative News Sites on https://eddiesbloglist.rocks/ Follow EddiesBlogList on Telegram https://t.me/eddiesbloglistrocks Elevate your frequency with Orgone Energy https://www.sacredintuitiveelements.com/ These article videos are made with "The #1 Text to Speech Reader" https://share.speechify.com/mztVMwL and recorded with ScreenPal https://screenpal.com/ NOTE from Ed: Trust only the information and processes found on these websites: Download and print https://annavonreitz.com Discussion http://paulstramer.net Correct Your Status https://tasa.americanstatenationals.org/ Global Family (Bank) Prepaid 528 Prosperity https://global528.com/ National Debt Relief https://signinamerica.com/ Thank you. ~ Ed1.77K views 1 comment -

Republican PoliticsMSNBC legal analyst and former acting Solicitor General Neal Katyal sounded the alarm on Friday after the Supreme Court overturned a 1984 precedent referred to as “Chevron deference” that empowered federal agencies to regulate large swathes of American life, everything from healthcare standards to the environment to financial protections. “Neal, I understand we also got a batch of decisions that have to do with Chevron. What do we need to know about those cases?” MSNBC anchor Ana Cabrera asked Katyal. “These are momentous major decisions. The Supreme Court has done an extraordinary thing, an extraordinarily dangerous thing,” Katyal began, adding:236 views -

Dr. Peter McCullough says SCOTUS overturning Chevron doctrine impacts public health
Just the NewsJohn Solomon spoke with Dr. Peter McCullough Friday regarding the Supreme Court's recent decision to overturn the Chevron doctrine. McCullough argued that the decision could have a lasting impact on public health saying, "The Chevron Doctrine reversal, which was the landmark decision, I think from this term, got rid of the ability of federal regulators to do what they thought they wanted to do rather than what Congress gave them the power to do."
