This week we investigate the 5-star trust, hundreds of top secret CIA bank accounts held in the name of Marion Horn and allegedly used to launder and hide more than a trillion dollars of secret money. The story is told by a leaked top secret FBI report written to Senator Ted Kennedy in 1989. It follows the exploits of several CIA opperatives including Richard Helms, George H. W. Bush, Richard Armitage, and Robert Ferrera as they setup and orchestrate the largest scale drug trafficking and money laundering network the world has ever known. We then discuss the veracity of the report as well as attempt to corroborate its claims using other sources. This week was a big one, and it took a lot of work to do it justice.
