A new study shows that the RSV vaccine that was approved for pregnant women has a high incidence of causing pre-term birth. We already knew this from clinical trials but the FDA voted to approve it anyway. We also knew that it increased risk of maternal death and that the immunity from the vaccine only lasted 30 days. My criticism of Rancourt et al's analysis stems from the fact I think people are owed as accurate of data as possible. In regards to my current position, I don't think COVID-19 vaccines should continue to be used and I have made this clear publicly on multiple occasions including here. This is based on lack of evidence of efficacy and an incompletely defined risk profile. Dr. Vanden Bossche received his DVM from the University of Ghent, Belgium, and his PhD degree in Virology from the University of Hohenheim, Germany.
