Disruptive Emotions
HeartTOHeart#1MinuteEncouragement Got some feelings churning up inside of you making an unstable soul. Are you full of emotions that are bouncing off the walls? How are you today? What is the normal response to this question? I am fine. F.eelings I.nside N.ot E.pressed. It is hard to trust other people with how you are feeling. Feelings are fickle, so we don’t want to share them. We feel one day, one thing, and the next day we could feel different. But, when we are burdened down with negative feelings, day in and day out, it really does help to find someone to share them with. It is good to release disrupting emotions, just by sharing with someone how you are feeling and why you are feeling that way. So, the next time someone asks you how you are feeling and you trust them to be a person who truly does care, then share with them. “I am fine”, is not a good answer that will bring an end to the negative feelings you have. Get out of the self-isolation, open your soul and share, then you may feel emotionally fine! #DigDeeper https://thebridegroomscafe.com/fine/213 views 6 comments -
Life Feeling FLAT?! Blah! Meh!
HeartTOHeartThere are those days... and sometimes they roll into weeks... when our emotions just go flat. We feel nothing. Is God with us? We don’t feel it. Is God for us? We don’t feel it. Is God hearing our prayers? We don’t feel it. Feelings don’t make for good navigators, especially when they go flat. The best advice given is when you feel absolutely nothing, when life feels flat, cling to the Promises of God, they change not. They are stable, true and will hold you through the times when you flatly feel nothing. Dig Deeper: https://thebridegroomscafe.com/pendurance-5/49 views
