Warriors Player Breaks Elbow After DIRTY Play During NBA Playoffs Game
We start today’s show by relaying some really unfortunate Warriors news. During Warriors vs. Grizzlies game 2 highlights, Gary Payton II took a hit from Dillon Brooks and fell awkwardly on his elbow, thus suffering a fractured arm. During the Steve Kerr press conference, he teed off on Dillon Brooks calling the play dirty. With the Gary Payton II injury being listed as a fractured elbow, which could put him out for the rest of the NBA playoffs which would be a huge loss for Golden State.
Ja Morant highlights vs. Warriors were straight up sensational and there’s not much you can say, except just tipping your cap. Morant scored 47 points, on 15/31 shooting, 5/12 3P. Gary Payton was serving as one of the primary defenders on Morant, so losing him could be a big blow to the Warriors roster.
Gary Payton II injury news:
Suffered a fractured elbow in the first quarter
Dirty play from Dillon Brooks, who swiped at GPII while up in the air
Steve Kerr was irate at Brooks, who was ejected
Steve Kerr Press Conference (On Dillon Brooks)
“I don’t know if it was intentional, but it was dirty. Playoff basketball’s supposed to be physical, everybody’s going to compete, everybody’s going to fight for everything. But there’s a code in this league, there’s a code that players follow. You never put a guy’s season, slash, career in jeopardy by taking somebody out in midair and clubbing him across the head, ultimately fracturing Gary’s elbow… He broke the code. Dillon Brooks broke the code. That’s how I see it”
Was Dillon Brooks’ play on GPII dirty Type ‘D’ for dirty, Type ‘C’ for Clean
Type ‘GPII’ to wish him well

Could The Warriors Pull Off This Trade For The Jazz’s Mega Superstar?
The second round of the NBA playoffs are officially underway and the Warriors are out to a 1-0 series lead following Warriors vs. Grizzlies highlights, in which Jordan Poole went off once again and the Warriors were able to slip by Memphis even after the Draymond Green ejection. On today’s show, Warriors Today host Chase Senior discusses the latest Warriors news and Warriors highlights on Golden State’s big victory.
Tim McMahon & Brian Windhorst (On Rudy Gobert Trade Rumors)
McMahon: “I know Rudy Gobert and Draymond Green have a great relationship… Any Golden State possibilities? Windhorst: “I have heard that rumor out there… I guess it would be based around Andrew Wiggins… I don’t know. If the Warriors win the title I don’t know if they’re looking for a major shake-up. But the Warriors don’t have that big and they have young players and they have the Wiggins contract. … I don’t think they should be considered a leader but I think that’s on the board. I’ve definitely heard that.”
Warriors highlights vs. Grizzlies in game 1:
Steph Curry: 24 PTS, 8/20 FG, 5/12 3P
Jordan Poole: 31 PTS, 12/20 FG, 5/10 3P
