What You Never Knew About The Boxer Bruce Lee Humiliated
If you like Bruce Lee stories, I've got this Bruce Lee story about people getting knocked out in some Hong Kong rooftop fights that I want to tell you.
According to Beerdy, this guy wrote him a letter claiming that he along with 6 of his kungfu students challenged Bruce Lee to a fight. Bruce Lee knocks out the teacher telling the story. His 6 students can't believe that Bruce Lee just knocked out their teacher, so they decide they are going to jump Bruce Lee.
Well, at this point stuff has hit the fan, and you know what happens when Bruce Lee gets serious -- he pulls out the Northern Praying Mantis kung fu.
This is a Bruce Lee story that is TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!

Bruce Lee's Surprising Grappling Skills No One Talks About
Let's talk about Bruce Lee's REAL Judo Teachers who taught him about grappling before he ever met Judo Gene Lebell.
When most people think of Bruce Lee, they think of the blinding speed, fast hands, and his famous one inch punch. I mean, Bruce Lee is the guy who was giving out sweet chin music in the movies decades before Shawn Michaels ever stepped into a wrestling ring.
So it's really unfortunate that people have no idea that Bruce actually studied grappling before he was learning how to kick people in the face.
I mean, if you believe what Joe Rogan has been saying for at least a decade, Bruce Lee never knew anything about grappling until he met Judo Gene Lebell on the set of The Green Hornet in 1965 or 1966, but that's not true.

The Problem with Detroit Urban Survival Training
it's pretty obvious that I'm talking about Detroit Urban Survival Training in this video because I mean— they're like everywhere at this point.
Everyone is talking about them, and if there's one thing YouTube likes, it's when creators all get together to talk about some trending topic that will keep people here on the platform.
So I watched a bunch of videos about Detroit Urban Survival Training.
I watched videos from people I liked who said that stuff they're doing doesn't work.
I watched videos from people I don't like who said the stuff they're doing well get somebody hurt.
After watching all these different videos and seeing reaction videos from people who don't even know anything about self defense and martial arts, I'm going to be honest with y'all.
I don't really know what to think about Detroit Urban Survival Training anymore, and I mean, that's me being completely fair and honest.
So how about this?
After trying to read everything I could find and actually sitting down to listen to the news stories and interviews with Dale Brown, what if I just tell y'all what I've learned, and then at the end, you guys tell me what you think the Problem is with Detroit Urban Survival Training?

Bruce Lee vs Gene Lebell — Why Lebell Trained Bruce Lee
How Bruce Lee really met Judo Gene Lebell - In "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story" how Bruce's first day on the set of "The Green Hornet," Bruce kicks down the door, destroys the set, and beats up the bad guys? It's like,"I'm Bruce Lee, and I'm here! Look at how awesome and amazing I am!"
Well, you have that depiction of Bruce contrasted with another totally fictional depiction of Bruce Lee in Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" where Bruce Lee is spouting off nonsense about making Muhammad Ali a cripple before he gets slammed into a car door by stuntman Cliff Booth.
On the Joe Rogan podcast, Quentin Tarantino tried to say that fight was based on some true stories from the set of The Green Hornet where Judo Gene Lebell was called in to teach Bruce a lesson because he was disrespectful to the American stuntmen, and he was always tagging them, or hitting them on purpose to make the fight scenes look real, just like was Steven Seagal does.
The problem with all of this is that Quentin Tarantino gives the polar opposite depiction of Bruce Lee on the set of "The Green Hornet" that is given in "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story," where it's like "oh look how AMAZING Bruce Lee is, everyone is in disbelief of how awesome he is!"
Well, the truth falls in between both of these accounts, and just like I've done in the previous two videos on Quentin Tarantino's comments about Bruce Lee, we're going to find out ONCE AGAIN that Quentin Tarantino is completely wrong and should just stop speaking on Bruce Lee entirely.
So this story was posted in a Facebook group for Fight Choreography by Lane Leavitt, a stuntment who has been working on TV and movies for the last 40 years.
Lane shared how Bennie Dobbins basically saved Bruce Lee's career by introducing him to Jude Gene Lebell.

The Next Bruce Lee? 3 Ways DK Yoo Is Like Bruce Lee
DK Yoo actually does have some things in common with DK Yoo, and I'm going to tell you 3 ways that DK Yoo is like Bruce Lee that stood out to me.
After his special boxing match with Brad Scott from "The Fight Bible," DK Yoo seems to be the most talked about person in Martial Arts YouTube, and if the talk isn't someone's take on the actual fight, then it's centering around how DK Yoo either did, or didn't, live up to "The Modern Day Bruce Lee" title in his marketing.
I remember heading into the fight that some people were insisting that DK Yoo uses Jeet Kune Do and was some kind of representative of Bruce Lee, only to completely retract all of those statements after the fight.
In the grand scheme of things, those fairweather fans who were so quick to hop off the DK Yoo bandwagon really don't matter.
They've already served their purpose of helping DK Yoo's marketing machine, and in a few months, he'll do something they think is cool, and a bunch of them will jump right back on the DK Yoo, and they'll be shouting this same stuff about how he's the new Bruce Lee all over again.
