Baptism In The Holy Spirit - 2
Our word baptism comes from the Greek word baptisma, which simply means to immerse something in water. Greeks in the time of Jesus said they were baptizing a cup when they washed the dishes. But, that Greek word is such a great word to use to describe the experience of being baptized or immersed in God’s Holy Spirit.
Some people refer to this experience as being filled with the Holy Spirit, or having the Holy Spirit poured out on them, or receiving the Holy Spirit. This teaching looks at this experience, whatever you want to call it, and answers several questions:
• Who is the Holy Spirit?
• Is the Holy Spirit the Spirit of Christ?
• What is the difference between how the Holy Spirit operated before and after Jesus – i.e., in the Old Testament and in the New Testament?
• What is the baptism in the Holy Spirit?
• Is the baptism in the Holy Spirit a second work of Grace?
• Who might want to be baptized in the Holy Spirit?
• What did Jesus say about the importance of being baptized in the Holy Spirit?
• What can we see from the Holy Spirit baptism experiences recorded in the Bible?
• What is speaking in tongues and where does it come from?
• Should all Christians speak in tongues or is it optional?
• What does it mean to quench the Holy Spirit?
One of the most enlightening parts of this teaching begins in Part 2 when we examine every example of Holy Spirit baptism in the Bible. We do an in-depth look at each instance looking for similarities and differences. It seems like each instance supplies details that, taken together, form a very clear picture of this experience.
Who is this teaching for?
• Anyone interested in being baptized in the Holy Spirit.
• Anyone interested in just learning more about this important member of the Godhead.
• Anyone who might want to become more effective in ministering the baptism in the Holy Spirit to others, or helping others receive this powerful Gift from the Father.
Here are some additionally resources for a study of the baptism in the Holy Spirit. It is a PDF file that is full of scriptures about the Holy Spirit. That file can be found at http://cecmessiah.org/resources/HolySpiritScriptures.pdf

Global Prayer Conference - Raleigh 2022
The Global Prayer Network operates a 24x7 prayer line over the phone and Internet. Once a year, they have a conference to gather prayer warriors from around the world for in-person ministry and training. This video is of a teaching and ministry session given at the 2022 conference in Raleigh, NC.
The teaching in this video focuses on 2 subjects:
1. Healing of memories - The process of finding memories that are troubled by destructive emotions, giving those memories to Jesus, and, then asking Jesus to remove the destructive emotions and healing those memories .
2. Moving in the prophetic gifts of the Holy Spirit - Prophetic gifts are defined in this teaching as those that involve words or messages, like word of knowledge, word of wisdom, prophecy, and discerning of spirits. The goal of this teaching is to help people know when they are hearing a word from the Lord and how to then give that word to its intended subject.
In this video there are times when the audience asks questions and interacts with answers - you might have to turn the volume up a little for these important additions to the teaching.
