Developing a Growth Mindset with an Eternal Perspective
What does it mean to have a "Growth Mindset" with an Eternal perspective? While I believe we should spend our lives growing and learning, we need to do so with a view of eternity in mind. We grow and we learn so that we can fully be what an Eternal God with and Eternal purpose created us to be. How do we do that? Find out this week on The March or Die Show.

When We Lose Those Who Have Impacted Our Lives
When we lose someone who has had an impact on our lives, it can be difficult to know how to respond. We may feel a sense of loss, but also a sense of dread and uncertainty about what to do next. It is important to remember that these people who have had an impact on us have made a difference in the world, and it is important to honor them for that.
This week on The March or Die Show we will discuss how we can live lives that honor those that have made a difference in ours. Instead of just feeling loss, we need to learn how to turn that loss into the motivation to fill the gap they have left behind.
00:03:16 Learn from world-changers.
00:09:19 Grieve to honor the loss.

It's Time to get off the fence!
What is the craziest story in all of the Bible? There are actually quite a few crazy stories in the Bible, but I believe that this one is right near the top. Today on The March or Die Show, we are going to look at the story of a Lady who killed a General with a tent peg (which is enough of a reason to listen), while also learning how to move from an observer to a person of action in our own lives. It is easy to stand back and watch all that is happening in the world, good and bad, but there comes a time in all of our lives when we need to, as author Robert Luis said, "Reject passivity, accept responsibility, and lead courageously." How do we do that? We learn from one of the toughest women in the Bible.

"March" Does Not Mean "Ignore the Pain"
Often when we think about pushing forward, "March or Die", we think that we need to forget the hurt or pain that we may be experiencing. We think that if we just keep going, or grinding, or driving, or whatever term is currently popular in motivational videos, then we can pretend that everything is fine even when it isn't. While I am all for pushing hard and refusing to quit, that is not the same thing as failing to address the very real challenges we all experience. In fact, the only way that we can continue to "March", is by confronting those challenges so that we can keep moving forward. Today on the show I want to spend just a few minutes talking about what this looks like. How do we deal with the obstacles, and in fact learn and grow from them, while also putting one foot in front of the other? Let's look at three words that make this possible.

Overcoming Regret
Regret can be a powerful emotion that can keep us from moving forward. We all experience regret to some degree in our lives, whether it be regret for something we have done in the past, or for something that was done to us. Regardless of the source, regret can become overwhelming and can have a negative impact on our ability to do what God has called us to do.
When we allow regret to keep us in the past, it can be like a chain that pins us down and holds us back. We can become so focused on what happened years ago that we don't look forward and we don't move forward. We can regret the things we have done to others, the decisions we have made, or the trauma we have experienced. We can even regret missed opportunities, such as in relationships, business, or financially. The big question is "How do we overcome Regret"? Today on the March or Die Show I offer ten steps you can take to overcome and begin moving forward with hope and purpose.
[00:00:30] Overcoming Regret.
[00:04:39] The power of regret.
[00:09:02] Overcoming regret.
[00:13:31] Forgiveness and kindness.
[00:17:17] Forgiveness and Trusting God.
[00:22:02] Redeeming the past.
[00:26:12] Moving forward from the past.
[00:31:25] Feelings vs. Reality.
[00:35:24] Comparison and Regret.

Where Faith and Life Meet
How do you live out your Faith in an environment that is not exactly "faith affirming"? Is it possible to be both a consistent Christian and an effective workplace leader? Even though we often choose to believethat we need to either be good at our job or be an outgoing person of faith, with the right tools and the character to apply them, it is not only possible, but we have BEEN CALLED to do both! Today's guest on The March or Die Show is someone who understands this from a place of life experience. Command Sergeant Major Demetris Pruitt has spent his life leading at a very high level in the United States Army, but has also made a priority of publicly and faithfully living out his faith. And, in order to equip others to be consistent in their faith walk, he has recently written a book that helps to lay the foundation for a consistent Christian life. If you are someone who has struggled to live out your faith in the workplace or simply need to better understand why you believe what you believe, this episode will be a great encouragement. Listenall the way through, share with someone else, and then follow the link below for more.

I'm Too Broken to Move Forward
While we can come up with so many reasons to stop moving forward in our lives, the truth is that many of these reasons exist only in our own hearts and minds! We look at our past and conclude that we are too broken or feel that we don't DESERVE to move forward because we consistently make bad decisions. Today on The March or Die Show, we look at a man in the Old Testament who had a past that could have been an episode of Jerry Springer, made a really bad decision even after God decided to use him, but made an impact on his world IN SPITE OF his past and bad decisions. I love looking at many of these Old Testament characters because they give me hope. What I learn is that if I will just keep moving forward I can make an impact as well. From this little known man in the Bible we learn some incredible lessons. I hope that you will be encouraged to stop making excuses and begin to move forward.

You Can Dig My Grave But I won't Stay In It-An Interview with "The Voice" winner Todd Tilghman
So often when we think of Success, we think that it will be a straight line. We start in the beginning and if we just keep moving eventually we will get to the top. Whatever the top is. Real success, though, is moving forward through a life that includes ups and downs while focusing on what God has set in front of you today. It can be easy to "miss the trees for the forest" as they say, but we need to be engaged in every moment while continuing to press.
My guest today, "The Voice" Season 18 winner and recording artist Todd Tilghman, embodies the March or Die principles by reflecting a sincere desire to follow God forward through every stage and all of the ups and downs of life. Whether success in family, business or Music, Todd knows what it is to get up and do the hard work. He has described it this way: "It's passion, and closed doors, and excitement, and disappointment, and work. Lots of work."
Enjoy this interview with Todd Tilghman and follow him at https://toddtofficial.com/

March or Die Show-How To Avoid A Crisis of Faith
What does it mean when someone talks about "Deconstructing" their faith or having a "Crisis of Faith"? How do we view those terms in light of what the Bible says and, how do we follow the admonition of Hebrews 10:23 to "Hold fast the profession of our faith"? AND, what does all of this have to do with March or Die? So many questions that I believe are answered on this week's episode of the podcast. If you or someone that you know has struggled with faith, you need to listen to this episode. I hope that you will be challenged and encouraged as we explore this together.

March or Die Show-Fighting When You Don't Think You Can Win
How do you keep fighting when you don't think you can win? I love listening to the stories of those who have done just that because it motivates me to keep Marching when it would be easier (and may make more sense) to stay where I am and die. Today on The March or Die Show I have the privilege of sharing a recent conversation that I had with Jeff and Jordan Harmon of Angel Studios. Even if you are unfamiliar with the Harmon Brothers or Angel Studios, I am sure you have heard of their incredible series, The Chosen. While we may look at the success that they have had in producing this life-changing series and think that it must have been easy, today they tell the story of fighting against nearly insurmountable odds to keep the studio going when it seemed like they would not make it. This is an encouraging interview that I hope will motivate you to keep going even when it seems like you cannot possibly make it.
