EP 35 Part 2 - Greg Caton - The Cure For Cancer From Amazonian Remedies
TODAY’S GUEST: Greg Caton worked extensively in "designer foods," as well as alternative medicine and nutrition products since 1981. He graduated from L.A. Valley College ('75); am a U.S. Navy veteran ('75-'78), and is the author of 4 books, Lumen: Food for a New Age (1986, an interdisciplinary work on vegetarianism and the role of meat analogs, with over 45,000 copies in print); MLM Fraud (1991, on corruption in the multi-level marketing industry and the tools to identify the work of its perpetrators -- since banned in the U.S.); Meditopia® (2004-2012: an ongoing project and free online read); and The Gospel of 2012 According to Ayahuasca (another free online read).
In 1984 he founded Consumer Express, which later became Nutrition for Life International (briefly traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange as "NFLI"). Later I founded Lumen Foods (1986), and its internet site (soybean.com, 1995), which currently manufactures the best-selling vegetarian "meat" snack on the North American continent, Stonewall's Jerquee.
In 1995 he created Alpha Omega Labs (herbhealers.com / altcancer.com), which became a provider of over 300 alternative health products with 14 distributors around the world, before its closure by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration in September, 2003.
It successfully re-opened in Ecuador in June, 2008.
Alpha Omega Labs is best known for Cansema® -- an effective cure for skin cancer, based on suppressed formulary information dating back to the 1850's. Over a 20-year period, Alpha Omega Labs has been responsible for curing thousands of cancer cases. The corruption surrounding the circumstances of its closure (from 2003 to 2008) is one of the topics in the free book called Meditopia®.

IN THIS EPISODE: If you took the time to listen to last week’s episode - and if you didn’t you can always go back and do that - you heard the amazing story of how Greg Caton was pursued and finally imprisoned by the American government because of the threat his herbal remedies became to the prescription drug industry. For many types of cancer, Greg has already found the cure and he’s got story after story to prove it. You can hear a handful of those stories on this episode of the show.
Once Greg was able to get out of prison he moved his family to South America and learned more about the herbal remedies and medicines that could cure cancer - and he learned how to make them available without interference or disruption from the U.S. government. Greg shares many of the things he’s learned, on this episode, including particular remedies for specific types of cancer.
A cure for cancer is truly within our grasp, at least for certain types of cancer. Greg Caton has found great success treating many skin cancers, prostate, and ovarian cancer, and others using the herbal medicines he has been taught about while living in South America. During our conversation, Greg and I talk about the use of one of his remedies, “Dragon’s Blood,” at length. I was excited to discover all the conditions it could be used to treat.
On this episode, Greg Caton and I also discuss the importance of cleansing routines and the benefits they can bring. He discusses many of the ways he’s gone about cleansing and the herbal tonics he uses to get the greatest effect. If you are in need of detoxification or a bowel cleanse of any kind, this conversation should provide some additional options for you to consider.
Before any of you listeners find yourself in a place where you need a cure for cancer it would be a good idea to do some preventative treatments. Greg Caton shares some of the detox routines he has prescribed for the prevention of cancer, on this episode, and finishes up the conversation with 3 of the most important things that anybody can do to improve their quality of life. I encourage you to listen to this episode, take notes, and get in touch with Greg to get some of his remedies.

EP 37 Part 2 - Is There A Cure For Cancer? Yes! - A Conversation With Valerie Warwick, RN
TODAY’S GUEST: A cure for cancer is not a pipe dream. It’s a reality, and it comes in the form of many different alternative treatments.
As a young adult caring for both of her ill parents, Valerie Warwick realized her natural ability as a nurse, and her interest in the healing arts grew. Valerie graduated with her nursing degree in 1997. Her nursing career led her into Oncology where she spent 17 years in direct patient care, in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. During that time Valerie obtained her certification as an Oncology Nurse Specialist and developed a strong clinical background in all aspects of patient care.
In 2009 Valerie's focus began to change after experiencing her own health challenges. Using whole food nutrition, and the principles and practices of Functional and Orthomolecular Medicine, Valerie realized a profound change in her own health as she incorporated these practices into her own life. She realized that allopathic medicine perpetuated a shift in metabolism, and in the way the body was able to utilize the basics of water, oxygen and nutrients. It was a profound awakening and it completely changed her paradigm. She realized that treating illness by suppressing symptoms and the body's immune system never brought healing to anyone. Valerie realized that toxins and micronutrient deficiencies are the most widespread and dangerous health condition of the 21st century and that true healing can only come by removing the burden of toxins, followed by restoring the immune system through nutrients, real - nutrient dense food, water, oxygen, sunlight, movement, spiritual awareness and the joy of healthy loving relationships.
Valerie's desire is to help others rediscover and restore their health and vitality by supporting the body's own ability to heal itself given the right environment. Valerie’s passion and life's purpose is to help in this regard.

IN THIS EPISODE: We often hear people talk about how great it would be if a cure for cancer could be discovered. Some of the saddest news in all the world is that many cures for cancer already exist but the established medical community won’t accept them or tell the public about them. Why? It isn’t to their benefit to do so.
My guest today is Valerie Warwick, a retired oncology nurse who left her chosen profession because she saw how traditional cancer treatments like chemotherapy not only didn’t work, they made the patients treated by them worse. She left oncology to start her own health coaching practice aimed specifically at cancer patients.
One of the most important things Valerie is able to give her clients is the knowledge that there are ways to test their blood to discover not only if they have cancer (long before other detection methods will discover it), but also what kind of cancer it is, where it is in their body, and how to treat it with alternative methods. I bet you didn’t know tests with that kind of specificity even existed. But they do. Find out how Valerie uses them to save people’s lives, in this conversation.
Once you know that you have cancer, what can you do not just to stave it off, but to cure it? Valerie Warwick talks with me on this episode of the podcast about the many varieties of treatment and how they have been shown to have tremendous results in curing cancer. If you want to get outside the box of the cancer treatment industry to find something that can really help you, this episode is the perfect place to start.
In this episode, we discuss a number of alternative treatments for curing cancer. That includes detox, diet changes, ozone and oxygen treatments, chelation, intravenous treatments including Vitamin C, and a handful of machines that treat cancer in specific ways. You will hear so many alternatives to the typical chemo-poisoning routine that you’ll finish this episode with the hope that your cancer can actually be cured. And you’ll have a great, trusted resource in Valerie to turn to if you need help finding the right treatment for you or your loved one.

EP 31 - Julie Mann - Home Remedies for Dogs, Cats, and Other Pets
TODAY’S GUEST: Coming from a diverse background of film production, business management and art curriculum development, Julie Mann discovered her true passion in the practice of homeopathy over 20 years ago. Trained through the School of Homeopathy in Los Angeles, Lou Klein’s Master Clinician course and years of seminars, her practice includes working with both humans and animals. She is the founder of the Homeopathic Collective of Los Angeles, better known to the homeopathic community as the “Monday Night Study Group”, where students and practitioners meet each week to study, share knowledge, and consult on cases. As current board member of the North American Society of Homeopaths, she works to define the role of the professional homeopath as well as to further research and education in homeopathy as director of the NASH Foundation. Her past teaching experience includes being on the faculty at The Los Angeles School of Homeopathy, and supervising the homeopathic clinic at the American University of Complementary Medicine and currently teaches at the Homeopathic Academy of Southern California. She is also the co-founder, grant writer and chief financial officer of The Learning Garden, an organic medicinal herb garden project in Los Angeles which has become the model for school and community garden projects nationwide. She is also a leader in the Sustainable Medicine project of the Transition Town movement in Los Angeles. She is dedicated to preserving our important medicinal plants and the knowledge by which to use them. Animals are not all that different from us - and the main thing is that their bodies respond better to natural approaches just like ours do. On this episode of the podcast I’ve asked Julie Mann to help me unpack the things you can do to help your animals live a healthier life. You’re going to be amazed at some of the stories Julie Mann has to tell about how her homeopathic approach to animal care has turned around serious health conditions for many pets. This episode is not only full of miracle stories but also highlights some very specific treatments you can use for your animals to enable them to enjoy their time with you and live a long life. Today’s guest is a wealth of knowledge and I asked her to share her top 3 home remedies for dogs and other pets so you can begin to gather the things you need to care for your pets when they have ailments or other conditions. You’ll find Julie Mann’s insights and suggestions very helpful. You can treat your pet’s ailments yourself in most cases using natural remedies. Julie Mann makes some specific recommendations on this episode of the VidalSPEAKS podcast and gives you simple ways to administer and use the things she recommends. I think you’ll find this episode to be very hopeful AND helpful. One of the most important things you can do for your animals is to ensure that they are getting the proper diet - which means that commercial foods are not the best way to go. You need to know that your animals are getting a diet that is as close to what they would eat in the wild as possible. Dry foods from big companies are definitely not that. On this episode Julie shares how a simple change in diet changes health issues in a big way most of the time, so be sure you listen. EP 29 - Upper Cervical Chiropractic Unlocks the Body’s Power and Health, with Dr. Johnny Truong
TODAY’S GUEST: Dr. Johnny Truong Dr. Johnny Truong is one of a select few highly trained upper cervical chiropractic specialists in not only Los Angeles, Ca. but also in the world. His upper cervical chiropractic approach is gentle and does not require harsh twisting, popping or cracking of the spine. He has taken the pledge, “To the best of my ability, I agree to provide my patients convenient, affordable, and mainstream Chiropractic care. I will not use unnecessary long-term treatment plans and/or therapies.” Dr. Truong has been a Los Angeles upper cervical chiropractor exclusively for almost 14 years. Over those years, he’s delivered over 270,000 individual chiropractic adjustments. Upper cervical chiropractic is a specialty within chiropractic which deals with the most vital part of the nervous system and that is your brain stem. The brain stem allows the brain to effectively connect with the body and helps to control all of its life giving functions. When this communication process is interfered with, pain-suffering and poor health develops. Connect With Today’s guest: Dr. Twang Website: www.DoctorTruong.com 213-385-3858 - Dr. Truong’s phone. IN THIS EPISODE: What is Upper Cervical Chiropractic? If you can imagine a power cord running from a generator to the things that it supplies power to, then you’ve got a pretty good idea of how the spinal column runs from the brain into the rest of the body through the neck. At the base of the skull is the C1 or Atlas vertebra. It’s the very first of the vertebra that the spinal column moves through. If the Atlas is misaligned any number of symptoms can occur. On this episode Dr. Truong shares many stories of the conditions he sees regularly and how Upper Cervical Chiropractic makes a tremendous difference. The Atlas is one of the most commonly misaligned vertebra in the entire spine and is also the most neglected in terms of regular chiropractic adjustment. That’s because typical chiropractic treatments literally can’t touch the Atlas in a way that moves it as needed. It takes someone like Dr. Johnny Truong, a specially trained Upper Cervical Chiropractic doctor to adjust it in a way that really matters. You’ll be amazed at some of the stories Dr. Truong shares about how his Upper Cervical techniques have brought healing and relief to his patients. Be sure you listen. In case you didn’t know it, I have had back and neck issues for much of my adult life. My career as a professional golfer in combination with a terrible accident have caused serious issues in my neck, the area Dr. Johnny Truong specializes in treating. I had gone to chiropractors my entire career and never received the relief I was seeking. I eventually visited Dr. Truong because of vertigo that was plaguing me and within a few treatments my vertigo was gone and the pain I’d had chronically for years was diminishing. If you haven’t heard of the Upper Cervical approach to chiropractic treatment, you owe it to yourself to hear the stories of how Dr. Truong has been able to help thousands of people. You’ll come away inspired, but more so, you’ll receive some excellent advice about how you can become more aware of your own posture to prevent injuries and upper cervical issues. Near the end of my conversation with Dr. Truong he generously offers to see any of my podcast listeners for an initial consultation for free and also offers to give you a discount on your first Upper Cervical chiropractic treatment. He’s a lifesaver to me and I can’t recommend him highly enough. Dr. Truong is the old fashioned kind of doctor who truly cares and takes the time to find out what’s really wrong so he can treat your condition properly. You won’t be disappointed. EP 33 - Natural Remedies for Shock and Injury: Homeopathic Advice
IN THIS EPISODE: Natural remedies are not as complicated as you think and on this episode - I’m calling it a “MeSpeak” episode because it’s just me - I’m going to be sharing some homeopathic remedies with you for shock and injury. I usually like to address issues individually but shock and injury are so frequently dealt with together I thought that it was appropriate and would be more helpful to address them at the same time.
If you apply the natural remedies I give you in this episode in cases where someone has experienced a significant shock or an injury, you’ll be doing them a favor and learning how powerful homeopathic remedies can be for these situations. I want you to be empowered to take charge of your health and to be a help to others when situations like this arise. If you are, everyone will benefit.
When you’re dealing with a situation that involves shock, there are three main homeopathic remedies that I would recommend. They are aconite, opium, and gelsemium. All three are very helpful in the treatment of a wide variety of shock conditions and in this episode I’m walking you through each of them so that you can be equipped to deal with emergency situations involving shock.
But you also need to understand how situations involving shock are often related to the pain or trauma of an injury. That’s why I’m also including in this episode some of the natural ways you can address injury and the pain that often comes with it. Toward that end, you’ll hear about Arnica, Hypericum, and Nat-Sulph.
With each of the remedies I describe on this episode I give you situations and stories where I have seen each work - and I describe the kinds of situations where each one of these natural approaches can be used. You will end the episode with a greater knowledge of how you can bring about significant healing in yourself and others by using entirely natural means. I hope you enjoy and apply what you learn.

EP 30 - What Supplements Should I Take? Deborah and Lloyd On This “We Speak” Edition
“What supplements should I take?” That’s a question Deborah and homeopathic and nutritional counselors all across the world are asked repeatedly. Why is the question so prevalent? For a number of reasons, including the fact that you hear conflicting claims regarding supplements of all kinds - and many of them seem to be based in scientific “fact.” Besides the confusion around the vitamin supplement claims you hear, there’s also the issue of government intervention in the supplement industry. There have been and will likely continue to be efforts made to bring the supplement industry under the control of the Food and Drug Administration or some other government agency. The reason given is that supplement companies are not presently required to give substantiation for the claims they make regarding their supplements. While that is true, it’s also true that when the government gets involved, the scope of the science used will be the traditional sources rather than any alternative approaches that hold just as much scientific weight. If you are curious what supplements you should take there are many, many resources out there to help you. Most of all you should check into books written by reputable authors who appeal to the science behind their claims. Understand the research and know how it applies to your situation. It’s a lot of work but for good health and confidence in your supplement choices, it’s worth it. When it comes to your health you don’t want to mess around. What other area has such a long lasting impact on your life? What other aspect of your existence is worth diligent research and depth of understanding to ensure that you are making the best choices for yourself, now and in the future? When Deborah asks, “What supplements should I take?” she goes to the source to find out what is best. You should do the same - and Deborah is going to give you some help in doing that on this episode. On this episode you’re also going to get to hear from another trusted source. Deborah has asked her partner Lloyd to come alongside her to talk about the need and importance for a certain handful of supplements. They share data, scientific studies, and their own experiences with each so you can hear the facts from a trusted source. You will benefit immensely from this episode. EP 97 - Unconditional Love: From a Cattle Ranch to Veganism with Renee King-Sonnen
Today Vidal receives Renee King-Sonnen, today’s episode is about a love story and how love can transform us in amazing ways.
This is Renee’s personal journey before and after opening an animal sanctuary.
Renee was born and raised in Houston, Texas and is the founder of Rowdy Girl Sanctuary. Renee was a dyed-in-the-wool city girl before moving with her husband, Tommy, to their Angleton, TX Ranch in 2009. She fell in love with all the farm animals on the ranch. She had no idea that her life was about to be forever changed as a result of her husband’s ranching business.
After witnessing time and time again the ranch’s baby calves going to the sale barn, she became more and more depressed about the inherent cruelty of the ranching business. By October 2014, she had decided she no longer wanted any part of ranching. She went vegan and began her pursuit of a dream to open a farm animal sanctuary. She forged relationships with many key leaders in the vegan movement who offered insight and counsel and with tremendous determination she worked toward creating a sanctuary out of what was once a beef cattle ranch.
Renee’s background includes a star-studded career as a professional singer, songwriter, and recording artist. In her life before Rowdy Girl Sanctuary, Renee traveled extensively with her band, Renee King & Wildcard, and her album, Renee King Queen of Honky Tonk. In addition to her work in the music business, which also included producing and being a publicist, Renee was a Top Producing Realtor® for five years running in Pearland, Texas. She founded and owned a wellness spa, where she was a certified Hatha and Kundalini yoga instructor and Ayurveda practitioner.
Renee’s passion is her greatest asset, and whatever she invests her time and heart into has manifested brilliantly in the world. But she believes her true calling has finally found her in her work at Rowdy Girl Sanctuary. Her desire to be a mother has been fulfilled in the care of the farm animals at RGS. And now she is a catalyst for change in a sometimes dark and cruel world to educate others about the vital importance of adopting a vegan lifestyle. Renee finds her greatest strength in the still, small voice inside her that she has come to know through her practice of yoga and meditation.
This episode leaves us full of joy and hope; changes are possible when motivated by love and awareness. Get inspired by this beautiful life journey!

EP 96 - Exposure to Chemicals in Our Daily Lives and How to Avoid Them with Ken Cook
Today, Vidal welcomes one of the highest exponents in the environmental field, Ken Cook.
Ken Cook, president and co-founder of Environmental Working Group, is widely recognized as one of the environmental community’s most prominent and influential critics of industrial agriculture, U.S. food and farm policy, and the nation’s broken approach to protecting families and children from toxic substances.
Under Cook’s leadership over the past 20 years, EWG has pioneered the use of digital technologies to expose the harms done by misconceived crop subsidies, crop insurance, and runaway agricultural pollution. The organization has also empowered American families with easy-to-use, data-driven tools to help reduce their exposure to potentially harmful ingredients in foods, drinking water, cosmetics and other household products. EP 93 - Medical Marijuana with Dr. Rachna Patel
Today at Vidal Speaks you will get to know all about Medical Marijuana with Dr. Rachna Patel.
Dr. Patel completed her undergraduate studies at Northwestern University (Evanston, IL) and went on to become a physician and completed her medical studies at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine (Vallejo, CA).
She stumbled on an ad that said “Medical Marijuana Physician Needed.” Knowing from first-hand experience that marijuana worked like a charm in resolving insomnia, she read every bit of research in peer-reviewed journals that she could get her hands on. Though the research was limited, it certainly showed promise, especially for conditions such as chronic pain, nausea and vomiting, and poor appetite.
So, a year later, she packed her bags and headed back across the country to witness the actual results patients were experiencing. There were patients that came off of highly-addictive daily pharmaceutical drugs for chronic pain, anxiety, and insomnia, and, instead, were using marijuana only on an as-needed basis for these medical conditions. Patients with epilepsy, who weren’t able to function because of the highly sedative effects of pharmaceutical drugs, now had a sense of normalcy in their lives.
Then, there were patients with Parkinson’s who experienced a reduction in tremors and patients with Multiple Sclerosis who experienced a reduction of spasticity. The anecdotes are countless.
After about a year and half of working at these mills, which were just churning out medical marijuana cards for patients, she decided to start her own practice in Walnut Creek, CA, so that she could perform her work with a greater level of integrity and where she has been working for over half a decade.
Enjoy this amazing episode and learn everything about how Medical Marijuana has been helping lots of patients and so can do it with you.

April Danann — A Short History
April Danann left Canada for Europe in 1997, following a job offer in Amsterdam to start up the European branch of a Canadian company and then ended up staying, realizing her heart belonged here amongst the blow-ins and the original food culture that has become her life.
She'd always longed to live in Europe. Even though she was born and raised on Canada’s East coast and loved the fresh air, the wildness and sometimes the snow, she thinks it prepared her for West Cork and the rainy days of Ireland.
April has worked as a Medical Intuitive since as long as she can remember. Her interest in food and nutrition were natural companions to her ability to hear the body’s voice. Although she left the corporate world when her son was born to work on her own terms, in her own way; it prepared her for all that was to come.
Starting something, anything, from scratch is something that comes easily, quite like her West Cork kombucha scobies and apple cider vinegar mothers. Capturing wild organisms and growing a business; life just gets better.
Certainly, a great episode filled with useful information for you to get healthier one choice at the time, connecting with nature and becoming aware of the messages your body is giving you. Enjoy!

Dr. Kristin Neff studied communications as an undergraduate at the University of California at Los Angeles. She did her graduate work at University of California at Berkeley, studying moral development with Dr. Elliot Turiel. Her dissertation research was conducted in Mysore, India, where she examined children’s moral reasoning. In addition to her pioneering research into self-compassion, she has developed an 8-week program to teach self-compassion skills. The program, co-created with her colleague Chris Germer, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, is called Mindful Self-Compassion. Her book, Self-Compassion: The Proven Power of Being Kind to Yourself, was published by William Morrow in April, 2011.

On the show, Dr. B discusses why you should seriously consider a plant-based diet, why acid reflux is on the rise, the dangers of taking too many antibiotics, and why you should get a colonoscopy. Outline of This Great Episode
[2:50] How is a vegan diet related to weather?
[6:10] Who is Dr. B.?
[9:40] Why did Dr. B. switch to a plant-based lifestyle?
[17:55] Traditional doctors simply aren’t talking about diet or nutrition at all.
[20:45] So many doctors are afraid of saying, ‘I don’t know.’ Instead, they’d rather tell you it’s dangerous before researching the facts.
[21:45] Most doctors who treat inflammatory bowel diseases will tell you that diet has no effect on these diseases. This is wrong and science has proven this is wrong.
[22:50] So many women are afraid of eating soy products because they do not want to get breast cancer. This information is simply false.
[27:00] The average American spends 85-90% of their food budget on processed food, meat, or dairy.
[28:20] What are some of the common things Dr. B. sees in his practice?
[31:05] Why is acid reflux on the rise?
[38:50] Good guys prevail. If you have enough good bacteria, they are able to fight off the bad guys.
[40:10] Not all medicines are bad. There’s no question that the invention of antibiotics has saved lives and increased our life expectancy by 15 years. However, the regular use of antibiotics is hurting our bodies.
[42:55] The idea isn’t to obliterate the bad bacteria. The idea is to empower the good bacteria.

[48:55] What is Barrett’s Esophagus syndrome?
[53:00] Is there a difference between esophageal cancer and throat cancer?
[54:30] When should people do a colonoscopy?
[55:30] Colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in America. Number one is lung cancer.
[1:11:35] Unfortunately, the prep before you get a colonoscopy can not be avoided. There just aren’t better alternatives out there right now.
[1:13:05] What kinds of foods contribute to colon cancer?
