In this video, Pastor Scott shares his story of how she overcame the stress of leading through transitions. He talks about two wake up calls that changed everything for him. The first was when his wife told her that if their marriage was going to make it, he had to go to counseling. The second was when his counselor told him to ask himself how well he had loved instead of how well he had preached. He also talks about how he was pushed to the brink of depression during a building campaign and had to get blood work done to supplement his low testosterone and serotonin levels. He also talks about how church people can be the meanest and how pastors need to be taught how to leave in a healthy way. Dr. Chand then goes on to explain that God has tested us before he puts us in a stressful position and that he holds an unlimited warranty on us. He also talks about how the post-pandemic world has changed the way pastors do ministry and how they need to create chaos at the right moments.
